What I didn't like was the loan processor. He didn't give me the whole about the property tax as a veteran and when I reach out to question, he never respond back. I really don't appreciate it.

Your sales agent; Erin was absolutely amazing. She was so responsive and went above & beyond so many times for me. I really felt like she cared about me and wanted my home buying journey to be great. She exceeded expectations. Corey; the superintendent was so patient and kind. He wanted to ensure I was happy with my home. He too went well above and beyond in many circumstances. He was superior to previous experiences I experienced with superintendents for new homes. The quality of the home was very good for the price. I was actually glad it did not have light fixtures so I could customize my home the way I wanted it. My only recommendations would be to not use flat paint (use satin as it cleans and can be touched up easier) & install better appliances. The water heater on the other hand is awesome. The Richmond team was great to work with. They were responsive, professional and helpful all along the way. Any issues found (mostly minor) were fixed before I moved in.

My experience with Richmond American Homes has been generally okay. The home itself is solid, and the buying process went smoothly enough. However, the biggest challenge has been getting timely responses when issues come up. Once the sale was complete, communication slowed down noticeably, and it often took multiple follow ups to get answers or updates. I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but I do expect concerns to be acknowledged and addressed without long delays. The potential is there for a great experience, but the responsiveness after closing definitely needs improvement. If they can strengthen their customer support and follow through, the overall experience would be much better. ... More

The realtor, Arin, was very professional, helpful and attentive throughout the buying process. The superintendents were very helpful during the walk-through. The legal team (attorney’s) staff and title company staff were all very helpful throughout the buying process. It’s a well tuned organization, it seemed.

We met Lizy when we first started our search for a new home. First stop of the hunt. Liked the homes but the location just wasn't right for us. Several months later I found the perfect Richmond American Homes development in a different county. Messaged her to see if I mentioned her name if she would get some credit as she had sold us on RAH's. She drove over an hour to show us this new location. We are super happy with our choice and bonus we have wonderful new neighbors. Oh, and Esteban was wonderful to work with also. Thanks Lizy and Esteban! The homes are well built.

This is my first home I bought in AZ after moving here a year ago. Now that I have finally moved in I have been running into nothing but problems. I have a full sheet of things that need to be fixed. I have been in communication with Anthony but it is hard to request time off from work to provide him those 2 days that he needs to have workers come fix it. I have nothing but luke warm water in my master bath, a have a kitchen cabinet that looks like a rat chewed it, I have nails sticking out of the stairs, cracked kitchen island and alot more. I feel like the builder was in a hurry to build the home and never checked the work that their workers did to see all the damages and its not just my house my neighbor has also told me about the stuff in their home. I currently have a garage door that is brown with the bottom panel white. Since I am new at job it is hard for me to take time off specially since I work 8 to 5 monday to friday and Anthony told me that the workers also work Monday to Friday from 8 to 4. I also had a new home build in Lake Elsinore with CalAtlantic but didn't have as many damages as this one does. ... More

Interior paint is the worst quality of paint I have ever seen in any house, let alone a new house. Very inflexible seller on walk through times and warranty doesn’t cover things one might think it does. It was probably a mistake to pay extra for add ons as I don’t like the GE washer but blinds very nice and installed nicely and the refrigerator was exactly what I wanted. Enjoy the house and I hope it is a long term purchase. Nice realtor and head construction person did extra to help me as I lived and work hours from where the purchase was.

Did a great job. Quick with warranty items. Lending was a little tough but I understand since they offered such a great rate. All is good!

Bought a move-in ready home. The whole process went very smoothly. All punch list items were corrected quickly. So far with are pleased with Richmond American Homes.

The sales experience was truly excellent. Michael was incredibly patient, thorough, and thoughtful as we navigated our home-buying decisions. We toured several homes and multiple communities, and throughout the entire process he remained attentive, responsive, and highly professional. Michael took the time to understand what we were looking for and ensured that we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Richmond American is fortunate to have him on their team—he truly sets the standard for what a great sales experience should look like. Unfortunately, our experience after the close of escrow has been very different. The level of responsiveness and care we received during the sales process has not carried over to the customer care team. This has been disappointing, and I will be addressing these concerns directly with management. We had a great buying experience. Our salesperson LeAnn was fantastic. Our builder Dylan took our home inspection report and our punchlist and every item was fixed prior to closing. Since closing, our warranty rep Ashland has been amazing as well. all requests are promptly scheduled and she even texts to make sure the trades show up and do the repairs on the day they are scheduled. Excellent service all around. We also feel the value we got from Richmond exceeded other builders in the immediate vicinity. Would recommend this builder highly.

The buying process was great ! Everyone was professional and offered their services throughout the process ! I would recommend.

Quality of work is very sloppy, never had so many issues with a new home. Customer service/interaction was great. I had expected some one to go over the work and fix the problems before buyer took possession of their new home.

My experience purchasing and moving into my Richmond home has been overall positive, though there were a few things along the way that future buyers should be aware of. From the initial purchase through move-in, the process moved forward with steady communication and coordination. Casey worked very well with my real estate agent and helped keep things organized and progressing, which made a big difference throughout the process. The quality and value of the home have been solid overall. Like most new construction, a few items came up during inspections that needed attention, but the team worked through them. Dustin and the crew who prepared the home after inspections really put in the effort to make sure the items identified were addressed before move-in and that the home was ready. After moving in, the warranty support has been especially impressive. Nick from the warranty team has been exceptional about making sure anything that needs fixing is handled in a timely manner. Having someone responsive and willing to follow through gives a lot of peace of mind as a homeowner. There are a few things I would encourage future buyers to understand ahead of time. In my case, the home ended up being listed at a value above the appraisal after the bid process, and the builder would not reduce the price. Because of that, I would strongly recommend making sure the price aligns with the appraisal before placing a deposit so there are no surprises later in the process. It is also helpful to know that the financing system initially requires buyers to purchase insurance through their banking process, although you can switch it later if you choose. Additionally, the mortgage may be transferred to a different bank shortly after closing, sometimes without much direct communication, so being prepared for that can help avoid confusion. Overall, several members of the team made the experience better by being responsive and working to resolve issues when they came up. The home itself is great and Solita was incredible. Home American Mortgage, however, was the most painful lender experience imaginable. We had to essentially micro manage them and continuously follow up to ensure we stayed on track to close on time. We were so diligent to gather all of the documents they needed and then they would go silent for a week. Coincidentally, when I reached out to ensure they had everything they needed, they would let us know they needed additional documentation. We had our own lender that had us fully underwritten in two days. These guys took over a month with a TON of back and forth. Almost worth paying the extra points to use your own lender. They tried throwing our salesperson under the bus, when it was clearly lender miscommunication. Totally unprofessional. ... More

My wife and I recently closed on our Richmond American home in Mountain Falls in Pahrump, and overall it was a meaningful milestone for our family. Building and buying a new home is a complex process with a lot of moving parts, and while there were moments where things required patience and persistence, there were also some individuals who truly made the experience better. The highlight of our experience was working with Josh, the Richmond American Superintendent. From our first walkthrough, Josh demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and pride in the homes he delivers. During the orientation, he spent significant time walking through every system in the home, explaining how things worked, answering questions, and making sure we understood maintenance and warranty items. What impressed us most was how proactive he was. Before we even arrived, he had already walked the home and taped areas that needed paint touch-ups or minor corrections. When we pointed out anything during the walkthrough, he addressed it immediately and made sure it was documented so his team could take care of it. Josh clearly takes ownership of the homes he builds, and that level of care gave us a lot of confidence as buyers. So much so that, without him, we likely would have walked away. Another person who made a big difference in the process was Jenna with HomeAmerican Mortgage. Financing can often be one of the most stressful parts of buying a home, but Jenna was responsive, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. Our loan had a few complexities that required additional documentation and coordination, and Jenna stayed engaged every step of the way to make sure everything moved forward smoothly. She took the time to explain the numbers, answer questions, and make sure we understood our options before making decisions. Her professionalism and communication were greatly appreciated. Overall, the home itself is beautiful, and we are excited to start this next chapter in Pahrump. Mountain Falls is a great community, and we are looking forward to enjoying the golf course, the growing amenities in the area, and the extra space the property provides. The process of buying a new construction home can require patience, especially when coordinating between builder timelines, lenders, and closing logistics. That said, when you have people like Josh on the construction side and Jenna on the financing side who genuinely care about their work and the people they serve, it makes a real difference.
