Suzanne was amazing!!! She was very helpful and knew all the information required. We used to come every other weekend to see the process since we were excited about the new house. I remember there was a weekend in which we couldn't come and she kindly sent us pictures (she noticed we didn't go on that weekend). The buying process was a little bumpy. We decided to used their lender and go through their people since I was told they all communicate with each other. At times I was overwhelmed because they kept asking me for things I had already submitted and it seemed they didn't communicate with each other at all. We accomplished this from Arizona. The Richmond team was not only extremely helpful handling the moving pieces for the project internally, but was very helpful roping in our agent on the ground and making sure all our questions were addressed in a timely manner. Some minor hiccups with the mortgage team regarding updates and clear communications which were resolved as we got closer to the closing date. The quality of build is top notch. Every corner, face, and foundational component has been expertly finished. The sales agent Terri was the best! She helped me throughout the entire process. I was out of state and she called me almost everyday to give me updates, send pictures of the home, video called me to do a virtual tour and more. Zurich, the builders superintendent was also helpful. Any questions I had he answered and even after I purchased the home, he’s still assisting me with no problem.

Hello, I really liked the Richmond American builders and the sales person(Dana) as well as the orientation persons (Steve) helped us understand and complete all the process very smoothly. Even the lender was so good and helped me to understand all the process easily and complete on time. High ceilings, good location and good construction. We really liked the Richmond American and I would definitely suggest to others .

The whole process of loan approval was a mess. It was very disorganized, bad communication, time management, last minute work (Mike the loan officer did not have a good communication and I felt was very behind and disorganized) the whole process was very stressful, not a good experience. On the other hand Rene was awesome, great person and experienced.

The house is still being renovated and I haven't moved in yet. I won't be able to provide more ideas until everything is renovated and someone moves in. So far, everything is going well.

Jim, Mike and Jennifer made a great team and were professional, knowledgeable and helpful through out the process. Would highly recommend working with them.

Please due your due diligence! They lie and are deceitful, they will not do any repairs that they schedule. The financing is a total SCAM and I am filing consumer protection complaint with the attorney general.

From start to finish we felt this was the best deal and best first home to buy. The process was smooth, easy and made it all feel that much better. Very happy!

Through several years of search, I chose the Boulder Heights by Richmond since it was the best value house with great price, floor plan, back yard, premium upgrades, modern interiors, 9 ft ceiling both floors, gourmet kitchen and more upgrade - all included. The best part was the rate promotion and closing cost support, which was very helpful for our purchase. Thanks to Richmond team with kind support and fast communications!

Many new changes in the way homes are built. Your house construction is amazing. All corners are exact 90 degree. Very good attention to detail. House is very energy efficient. Happy we bought it.

Not good the who did the initial walkthrough, is not trustworthy, she told things after we closed on the house. When we asked questions about parts missing on the house she became angry and argumentative. Very bad customer service!

Very nice people and quick to respond on any questions we had. They were phenomenal to work with!

the framing, plumbing, eletrical, roofing was completed to the highest degree of professionalism. Inside trades were not up to the same standards. Warped walls inside, plumbing hardware elements that don't work, mismatch plumbing hardware, paint issues, grout inconsistencies on backsplash, etc were indicative of lower quality standards. Lastly, we paid $23K for a side turn garage as an optional add on. We were happy to do so. It was INCREDIBLY disappointing to learn upon possession of the house that a garage door opener was NOT included at that price. This is just another "finish" that was lacking in this build. ... More

First off, the house itself is very nice. The floor plan is awesome, the materials aren’t bad. It’s a very welcoming home. However, 1 month later. The screen door has popped off, the locks wouldn’t lock from the beginning, no body has came and fixed it. Our garage door opens our neighbors and our front door handle is coming lose. The home buying was incredibly frustrating. The loan process took way too long. Our loan officer Deacon kept us updated as much and as well as he could. From getting told “we’d close tomorrow” to it being delayed 4 weeks because of reasons I have never heard of. I WOULD buy another Richmond American home, however, I would NOT ever consider going through their company. ... More

I purchased a new Richmond home 30 years ago. The quality of the home then was was great. I can't say the same today. The appliances are unbelievably bad. Home builders are saving money by installing "contractor grade" items in the home. If they offered to let us upgrade to something better during the construction process, that would be fine, but they do not let you upgrade anything. When you walk through the model homes, the appliances and upgrades you see are what you would get months and months ago. When they cut costs, they didn't remodel the models so you can see what you'll actually get. ... More

Overall a very easy process getting in the door. After close though, we have reached out a couple times trying to get rollover items and inspection issues addressed with no response. To be fair we have only tried communicating directly and have not gone through warranty. The issues are also minor, primarily being paint touch ups.

Travis and Austin were amazing through the whole experience and I hope that everyone gets to have the same experience I had. They were able to answer any questions I had and continue to have even after closing. I will recommend Richmond Homes to anyone that is seeking a new home.
