Sales representative and Mortgage lender were excellent to deal with. House was already built. Cheap cabinetry, cheap appliances.

Nothing bad to say about the experience

I wanted to wait to write this review, after being in the home for a liitle. Overall experience was good, Erik in the office was great no issues, always took our calls and our questions. Our biggest problem is all of the finish work that was completed or not really completed. Alot of stuff was just touched up quickly so that they could close the house. Our baseboards/trim and walls are probably the worst; uneven and rushed. We still have people coming back to fix things; it just takes so long even though we've paid and we are in our home. It's really just an inconvenience to us as the buyer, we can't decorate due to walls needing to be re painted. We can't fill our cabinets since those need to be fixed as well. They forgot our soft closed cabinets and doing the extra finish on them at the end so they are mot so dull. Plus, they almost forgot our covered balcony that they ended up having to take off the roof that they had started and redo it which is probably why things were rushed since they were 2 to 3 weeks behind. Our problem is, is where is the quality control? We understand that people are not perfect. But, for a new home priced over 500k. You would think there would be some more consideration with the details and finishes. We're still finding things and it's just makes us feel like we come last. Fit and finish of completed homes should match the model homes but builder is too rushed to complete houses resulting in less than ideal quality. Sales team and building superintendent are knowledgable and very easy to work / communicate with.

I continued to receive conflicting information depending on who I spoke with. I’m happy with the home itself, but the overall process was frustrating.

Your in home landor is useless. Please change it. Because of them I am giving bed rating for Richmond.

Excellent price and best offer

Home is great for seniors. All on one floor. In a growing community. It’s away from heavy traffic but close to shopping. When fully built out it will have that small town feel and yet have access to all that a city has to offer. Everything is new and shiny.

I wish I could give a 5 star across the board but I can not. The quality of workmanship was not as expected. This is my 3rd new home purchase and I was disappointed for the amount of money invested the issues I have seen with the house like the upgraded cabinets poorly installed. The doors poorly finished. The house windows and parts of the flooring with paint spots and not cleaned when keys were delivered. Communicated gutters on the front door were included prior to purchase and now being told it was an error and not complying to what I was told. None of the punch list items from walk through the week prior to Closing were worked on until morning of Closing. Several unfinished items remained unfinished six weeks later, even after promises from the superintendent to complete them.

Richmond home buying process was very easy and low stress. I bought the model home which had normal wear and team. The high end appliances, finishes, and furnishings are nothing short of amazing. The location manager, Tim S., went far above and beyond to prepare the home for my families arrival. While technically the house was sold, as is, Tim went ahead and had all the minor and major-ish things found on the inspection repaired, nothing left for me to do except move in. This saved me time, hassle, and money. He was also great at walkthrough and telling me about the neighboorhood. Really exceptional experience. In today’s market I would recommend a new home with Richmond. Process was easy and I ended up getting huge incentives!

THEY ARE WITH YOU AFTER THE CLOSING

I didn't get involved in the building of the house but the size is what I needed.

We had an amazing experience buying our home thanks to the very capable Brian and Stephen. Communication, honesty and speed were at the forefront of the entire process. We are also very pleased with the after sale support, availability and willingness to correct issues as they arise in an expedient manner. Again, we are very happy with our new home in Colorado!

Warranty after sales is complete is nonexistent . Closed on November 11 and still can not use the hot water in my bathroom or shave in my private space I am paying so much for. My worst house buying experience ever. !

Georgine was great. Customer service was top notch. Kept me in the loop throughout the process. There was one issue but Luke and Georgine handled it. Richmond American Homes cares about their buyers and made sure I was happy.

The house over priced. The house have so many problem to fix. Request some one out to fix. It take week before thing could be done.

Sale consultant and home gallery rep were amazing we loved working with them. Workmanship and quality ifbthe home are sub par we have been at our home for a month we don't expect perfection but there were many issues that were rushed and overloked like dishwasher water was not plugged in. Also we have a leaky shower faucet we hope that issue is resolved we believe are doors were not painted just primed they are very rough. Drywall has many small dents that we did not notice while doing the walk through dimmer lights flicker even in bathroom. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.
