Suri Sales and Devin Builder were great to deal with. They were honest, did what they said. Very appreciative.

Pretty exciting experience. Definitely took quite a bit of work but they really make sure that all bases are covered. Their also very responsive, always a super fast response.

Seller was in a rush to close. We found out later, the seller’s representative wanted the commission prior to transferring to a different company. The builder failed to properly submit all building permits and documents to the county. We have been in the property for five (5) weeks and we still do not have a valid address. Do your research before buying with this builder.

Rob was great. Very responsive to our questions and you can tell he cared about doing a good job. Home buying process was smooth and everyone involved at Richmond was easy to work with.

My experience with American Richmond is overall neutral after my horrible experience with one of their sales representatives named Victoria. She at first was polite and responsive, however after I entered in contract her behavior changed and I wrote her a polite email asking a question to which she responded extremely rudely and dismissively to my inquiries. I made a complaint and sent the email evident to corporate American Richmond. Victoria’s manager also reached out at one point and instead of apologizing for Victoria behavior she began to answer the questions I had originally inquired to Victoria in the original email. When I explained to her the actual issue is Victoria rude behavior she then apologized but it just further proved that they don’t care about the customer experience. After that Victoria then later went behind my back told my realtor, the lender, the title company that I am trying to get her fired and everyone behavior toward me became cold. We had an amazing purchase experience until it came to financing with RA. The contractors interest was attractive but the amount of red tape we had to cross to get to YES was not worth the wait so we sought financing elsewhere Dana appeared to not go that extra mile to assist us but at the end of it all we got the home we wanted!

I've been very pleased with my home buying experience so far with Richmond American Homes. I felt their sales person, Mike, truly listened to what I wanted in a home, and actually identified a home I hadn't considered on my own... And I bought it! He was so patient, showing me multiple homes, multiple times as I wanted, never making me feel rushed, or like he simply wanted to sell a house. I felt as though he wanted to find me the "right" house! He was very knowledgeable, and also helpful about getting prompt answers to questions I and my realtor had, that he couldn't immediately answer. I never doubted that the information he gave me was honest, and even after closing day, and living in my home for about 6 weeks now, I couldn't be happier that I found the perfect salesperson and home. This is the 3rd new home I've been involved in buying through the years, and so far the warranty dept has also been exceptionally responsive. All new homes come with some things that need touching up or a bit of fine tuning, and Zack and Nick have been very responsive, and excellent in getting them attended to promptly. My hope is that a year from now, 10 years from now, I still look back on this experience with the sense of warmth I have about it right now. ... More

I knew the minute I saw this home, neighborhood and price this was the house for me. I love that the home has 8' doors throughout, large lots, fantastic features (such as self closing cabinets, tankless water heater, and complimentary paint touch up at the one year mark). The sales process was simple and Grant was great as he worked closely with my realtor to make sure all was in order for the transaction. Dennis did a great job of walking us through the functionality throughout the home and how to operate things, and took care of a few items discussed as part of the first walk through so that things were done before the final walk through. Generally excellent. Builder helpful in getting details ironed out. On site agent very thorough in showing house video and managing purchase. Mortgage and title were thorough. Bought while out of state so everything handled online except closing paperwork. Only negative comment is so many different offices and people involved it was hard to keep track of who was doing what.

We bought a move-in ready house and closed within the month. The process for us was extremely quick and smooth. Our sales rep Sammy was patient and got us a great deal and our superintendent. Josh was on top of getting the little details knocked out for us. We love our house and can’t wait to spend many years there.

We are please with our new Richmond house. The only complaints is we did not have the ability to select any options structural or otherwise. Also, although we knew upfront, the lot sizes for the most part are less than what we would prefer.

We had a great experience buying our first house with Richmond American Homes. Our sales agent, J'mir, was beyond helpful. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and patient. He frequently checked in to see if we had questions or issues. He kept us updated with a timeline, which was extremely helpful for a firsttime home buyer. We used their preferred lender which made our buying experience seamless as everyone communicated with each other. Our walkthroughs went well and I was pleased to see the builder's had already begun fixing the minor things that were found on our home inspection. After living in my home for 2 weeks, my only critique so far is that I would have liked to choose the previously installed appliances. This is our fourth buy, third with a new build, and none have been as easy and as pleasant as this one. From our first look through our first home touch-up, this has been a stress-free experience. Jessi patiently walked us through the homes and the process. The finance plan made it possible for us to buy. Nate and Will have taken care of each very minor house issue with a smile--unlike our previous experiences where every issue became a tug-of-war! We're trying to get our friends to buy nearby, knowing if they do they will not be disappointed.

I like Richmond American home,this the reason buy house. All over is good,only I don’t like kitchen countertops. I have to pay for seal the countertops. Costumer service good,Katrina and Gayle both very nice,both did great job. I very happy and recommend other people

Love our new home! Chris, your sales rep, was amazing and literally made it happen when we had issues with timing and our lender. Trust him completely. Home is well thought out, and we keep discovering more things we like as we’ve lived here a few weeks. Definitely try.

So far my personal experience has been bad!

The gas was red tag by the gas company for a gas leak. Richmond remived the tag. Without repairing the leak. Very unsafe . Extreme hzard to my family safety. Extreme hazard for an explosion, And it took Richmond over a week to repair the problem. It was very hazardous. Plus I endured expenses having to eat out for over a week. Richmond was very careless, unprofessional for putting a family on a extremely unsafe situation

Start to finish, Jennifer made the entire experience effortless. Arnold always is here to help if I have questions or need anything. This is my 3rd RichmondAmerican home and my first brand new one. Such a great home with great craftsmanship. 10/10 recommend RichmondAmerican and 10/10 I recommend the Seasons at Red Rock.

Recently purchased my home in October with initially looking at the model in May, 2025. I was excited about the style home, as there was nothing like it in the DMV area. We were not provided consistent communication during the entire process. We were always told our house would be ready at the end of October and then told two months before that our house would be ready a month early. We based the initial timeline on what was being told of to us multiple times. It caused a lot of headaches and then having to pay nearly 2 weeks of penalties having to push back our closing. I would definitely think twice about purchasing a home from them again and make sure I have everything in writing to protect myself. Workmanship is not up to par as other builders. This would be my fourth new home and probably last time I purchase from Richmond American Homes. ... More

Buying with Richmond homes was a really good experience, as you know, buying a home can be very stressful but the team at Richmond homes made it very easy and communicated all the way through the process, Francisco, Jennifer and Darcie were guiding us every step of the way through the process and got us through. My family is happy with the house. A+ experience.

Everyone that we dealt with was excellent, from the initial sales representative contact, through building supervisor and walk throughs, to the various members of the administrative team that handled all of our processing.
