We love our home and overall happy with the quality. It's a beautiful home with thoughtful touches. Every person we have worked with have been amazingly friendly and professional. Unfortunately some issues are big enough to linger and tarnish the move in experience. Water heater, dryer, primary toilet did not work at move in, things we did not think to test during walk through. It took several weeks to get the dryer fixed and consistent hot water is still a daily guessing game. Most cosmetic issues were taken care of quickly. Some are still work in progress several months in. Apparently not ...

We enjoy our new place - it is beautiful and mostly practical. A few things dinged the rating: * Water is very hard but we could not just install the water softener -- we had to replace the whole box which was almost $5K. * Window frame quality was not great and 2 windows had effectively broken levers -- this will be replaced by warranty but for a brand new place is disappointing. * Master bathroom has no reasonable place to hang towels (you have to install a bar on the glass wall and it is not trivial to find matching towel hangers). * One of the doors in the kitchen cabinet is oriented ...
