We recently purchased and moved into our beautiful new Shea home, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very first meeting to the final walkthrough and beyond, Shea Homes delivered a truly outstanding homebuilding journey. If you're considering a new build, look no further. Sales Staff – Ted, was fantastic from day one. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely listened to what we wanted in our forever home. Ted walked us through every option with honesty and enthusiasm, helping us make smart choices without ever feeling pressured. His trustworthiness made the whole selection and contract process smooth and enjoyable. He truly felt like a partner in the process rather than just a salesperson. Once construction began, Abby was an absolute rock star. She kept us informed every step of the way with regular updates and was always available to answer questions. The quality of workmanship and materials in our home is exceptional — from the precision framing and beautiful finishes to the high-end cabinetry, flooring, and fixtures. Everything feels solid, well-built, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell Shea uses premium materials and holds their trades to a high standard. Our project manager, Abby, was great to work with. She really cared about making us happy with the work. Adam is a true gem and is always quick to respond and is always available to help resolve any issues.

As a retired builder I appreciate the guality and attention to detail as well as warranty follow up. My home was a spec and I’m very satisfied with almost everything. Two suggestions: 1) every great room should include a floor outlet 2) The appliance package should include a better refrigerator. The Whirlpool side by side is junk. Terrible lack of space and real shortage of shelves. Charge more and include French style.

The home buying process (move in ready home) was quite easy. The in house sales person was thorough and provided information beyond the neighborhood itself. Communication was excellent and it continues post close.

This home is serving as a temporary home while we build a new custom home, after that then my son will acquire this home, the experience with George (Project Manager) to Jessica (Sales Consultant) was tremendous and very seamless. Our sales rep was awesome. Attentive, kind, helpful the whole way through. The home itself is nice, however not as thought out as one would hope. A 5 bed 3 bath home should not have a 2 car garage. It means bigger family size but they made the 4 bedroom homes with 3 car???? Most people now a days want a 3 car garage minimum. Every house should have had 3 car garage options. Big draw back. The materials used are very basic. The wall paint is cheap, damages at the slightest touch, not living friendly and chips at the slightest touch despite paying for upgrade in paint choice and being quite careful. Upgraded features like doors are so extremely cheap despite the mark up price. They are very hollow and offer zero privacy when closed. Upgrade in price and size should come with better quality and insulation and soundproofing. These have none. The noise heard when walking upstairs is almost unbearable downstairs. There is so much vibration and loud thudding even with someone barely walking. Poorly crafted. The construction process is way too fast for quality. They are focused on pushing out new builds yet no one carefully ENOUGH fine tuned the finishing details in the home. Attention would have shown their care and precision. While we understand its a man made product and subject to discrepancies, these could have been made correct had someone given a careful review. Its like they take their vendors and builders for gold. There should still be a quality control check and that was lacking in several areas within our new home. The neighborhood itself is crowded and with tight lots. A shame for such a beautiful area. Need more space between homes which obviously cant happen now. Uncomfortably close on a noise level and for room windows that face one another. Poorly thought out in that regard. And lastly, a massive HOA shared wall with our property was painted on the interior portion of our home with no prior notification! It felt like a tacky, unnecessary, and disappointing move on Shea’s part just before our closing. There was no need to alter the wall, it was decorative and high end looking than what they painted it to. This left a very bad taste and really dampened our happiness about the property. There was no fair reasoning given as to why they painted it. Our lot choice and property buy was based on this wall to begin with and it was a blow to have them paint it unbeknownst to us. They had been keeping us informed of everything but never this. It spoiled the whole sale and thrill of moving in just days before. They completely turned the wall ugly. It had specific speckling and decorative features to the wall that are still present on the exterior of it but on the inside section that lines our backyard they painted it an ugly clay brown which does not match the other retaining walls and had no purpose in being done. Highly upsetting occurence for us. And still troubles us to this day. We built this home on a whim from out of state. We wish we could have known more about what was to come with regard to the finished product. We are content for now but there was certainly room for improvement which is unfortunate because its such a new community. ... More

The buying experience was great, all Shea members were lovely to work with. We had a ton of issues with the finishes of the home. Everything is just a bit off - crooked, messy, missing, etc.

Mike and Lynda were so very helpful with the buying process, and altho there were a couple issues which arose post close, the team is doing a great job with follow through and getting things done. Love the house!

Listened to my wants, rather than what they wanted to sell me. Everyone had a welcoming spirit (employees and volunteers). Accommodating even after the sale was made, like the lifestyle was more important than the house.

Trust the process! Eventually, they will get it right.

I was very happy with my experience. Charmaine was great. My only issue was the lack of water pressure in my shower from day 1. Shea refused to fix the problem and I had to hire a plumber to address the issue

Shea home you really don’t want me to have anything reviewed about buy shea home experience right now, my new house just got done with one month warranty fixed up . right now I’m right literally is word for waiting for months April comes so I can continue doing more fixing things to do my house , foundation problem or house setting problems I don’t know things are cracked ? please don’t use the word congregation to me , if you understand how I feel , experience is not very good .

The service was amazing, though some of the work could have been improved. Overall, I’m satisfied with everything. The sales team was great, and the sales warranty crew was awesome.

If you lucky, you will get to work with incredibly caring and knowledgeable people like we did. It started with Kacey, who effortlessly ensured that our new purchase would be terrific. Eric, who meticulously educated me on the proper building process and also kept me well informed as to what to expect throughout the building process. When I pointed out a rare concern, he was quick to solve it and to provide a fix that was much better then mine. True Pros who care.
