Going through the “lottery” experience was quite new, exciting, even though it took 3 tries. I almost dropped out of the running. But now I’m in a lovely home just right for me. I trusted Trilogy since I chose a home that didn’t have a model available to walk through. My mortgage company worked well with Trilogy. Only comment the upgraded “Shea” shower could be more solid and outside the air conditioning unit of my neighbor is right out my patio door. However I do love all my upgrades.

We love our Shea home. We wish our home home would’ve been finished as scheduled. During the delay of our home build, the interest rate started taking a huge hike. Our mortgage payment is now over $500 a month more than originally calculated. We understand the rate hike is not the builders fault, but unfortunately as the delay was happening, we were also watching the interest rates increase almost daily. We are now retired and on a fixed income, so this is very unfortunate.

Sales staff outstanding. Communications great. process they use for sub trades is great. Very ridgit with trades where by no changes can be made once customer has signed off on plans. should have some flexibility. extreme focus on quality whereby no issues to fix post closing. we would buy again from Shea

The Sales staff did an excellent job keeping us updated on the build status. It has been more challenging getting results from the Warranty Department, but the home is very well built.

MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE BUILDING PROCESS IS ALWAYS EVOLVING AS IT IS DEPENDENT ON MANY FACTORS OVER WHICH THE BUILDER DOES NOT HAVE CONTROL I.E WEATHER, SUPPLIES, LABOR FORCE RAW MATERIALS, TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS ETC SO MAKE SURE YOU PLAN FOR CONSTRUCTION DELAYS FROM ORIGINAL DATE

Although our experience with Shea Builders has been, for the most part, very positive, there are some issues that still require attention. For example: We were promised that the exterior paint problems would be addressed prior to closing. Two months, the area outside our front door remains unpainted, although it has been scheduled on at least three different times. I don’t understand why the painter has been unresponsive. Ryan has certainly gone out of his way to get this done! Shea needs to pay more attention to the quality of work that some of the subcontractors are performing. Cabinet doors still do not work or fit properly, even though an Oak Craft person has been here to correct the problems. Interior doors don’t close properly, not because of settling or expansion, but due to hinges or plates not being installed properly. Finally, our range hood vent cover is sitting in boxes in our garage, uninstalled, because the installers didn’t know what to do when they came to install it (twice). Items being on back order is one thing. Not being able to install them when they arrive is another. Ryan has scheduled a date in September to get most of the work completed, and I commend him for his responsiveness!! ... More

Regardless of the issue or where we were in the process, we always had great support and our issues were resolved quickly.

I'm a Real Estate agent so I'm very familiar with different builder, there were a few bumps on the road with starting of the construction besides that very responsive, I'm very express by customer services after closing. I highly recommend Shea

This is our second Shea home and overall it has been a great experience. I only gave 4 stars on price because prices everywhere have skyrocketed and 4 stars on quality because of one fairly significant issue involving location of grab bars in showers The Warranty service has been excellent in every regard. David is professional and very responsive and a credit to your company

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of a Shea home in Trilogy Verde River. The purchase experience with sales rep (Liz) was excellent - she found a more desirable lot during the purchase; the design center representative (Janelle) was meticulous in specifying all the many selections; the mortgage rep (Spencer) was continuously on top of the transaction; the warranty rep (Steve) was -is- quickly responding to any request I may have. very pleased with home; wonderful floorplan

Buying experience with the Sales staff was great. Post-closing not as good. I found a box of nails on my roof two months after closing. 30-day review did not go smoothly. Multiple trades for touch-up issues were scheduled without letting us know. Also, our backyard gate/fence was installed the wrong way and, 9 weeks after closing, it still has not been remedied. Multiple issues with post-closing items still remain pending.

A very long process, but you were always in the loop every step of the way. This certainly made the experience worthwhile.

Due to supply issues, we were only given one week notice to close. We were ready. That is one thing I would recommend is to have all your paperwork to mortgage company if you are financing, as soon as possible and don’t wait till last minute. Closing went very quickly and efficiently. The mortgage company always wants some type of paperwork last minute. Sometimes it’s duplicates of paperwork we already gave them. That’s pretty normal. Shea Mortgage was very good and would use again if ever needed.

There are numerous minor issues but they do take care of them during the services, which is good.

Builder does goes the extra mile to create an excellent home. It's the hidden features that go unnoticed that make the difference between this builder and it's competitors.

Very good bang for the buck. Not perfect but they try really hard to get things right. Our home is beautifully designed and built to a high standard. We could not be happier.

Once we decided to be part of the Trilogy experience, I was very impressed on the process in which Shea/Trilogy keep us informed on every step of the way of the house build. We are thrilled to be part of the Trilogy Neighborhood and we love our new house. Ed

Eric and Marcie are great.

The sales team, Marci and Eric were amazing to work with. Work around our schedules and always made us feel excited. My only knock is that many things are not complete in our home, due to back ordering, which I understand but the communication (or lack there of) has been disappointing. We have no idea of when we will have these items installed.
