I believe that we received a quality product for the price we paid. As a production builder, they have their processes and, other than picking finishes, you have very little input into the build process.

From purchase to move-in and beyond, Shea Homes is there for you! To tour the community with a current resident, prior to viewing model homes is a genius idea and experience. We knew very quickly that this is the place to retire in beautiful Wickenburg Ranch! Our salesperson explained the purchase process, very transparent and applied no pressure. We were kept abreast of building process and since moving in, our Customer Service Rep is absolutely wonderful-very caring and responsive to solve any issues, of which there were very few.

Any mistakes that were made Shea Homes responded quickly and honestly! Joe was upfront about everything. He backed his word! I would recommend Shea Homes to others!

The overall experience was great. Shea acknowledged and addressed issues openly and transparently, and overall this is the best experience I've had with a homebuilder.

Building a new home can be quite daunting but The experience we had with Shea builders was exceptional. Kara was our sales person and we appreciate her guidance as we chose our home. She’s an asset to Shea! There were a few hiccups along the way during the building process but nothing that was discouraging especially during the time with supply chain and worker issues. Our home was delivered with white gloves. The team turned over a beautiful home and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you Kara, John and Neal.

We love our beautiful new home. However- You cannot expect perfection and when a couple of minor issues surfaced with our new home- James our CS rep was on it. Bringing in trades ri make it right - right away. Our home is beautiful and we love it- everyone at Shea from sales to construction supervisors to customer service represent quality and responsiveness. We felt cared for and prioritized. It was a smooth process- everyone says building a house is stressful- not for us- it was fun and exciting with Shea!

Overall, experience was pretty good.

Overall decent for the price but 2 major issues. - The walls thickness are probably at minimum allowed by the state law, according to another Builder that I have asked. Apparently some builders are trying to save money on materials so they cut back on building homes the proper way. The sound travels easily through the Walls, I mean literally any sound. I could be in the master bedroom brushing my teeth and someone in the kitchen can hear my electric toothbrush!!I can even hear my Neighbors talking at night from inside their house. No, they’re not being loud typical conversation, cuz I can literally tell. - They claim their homes are energy efficient and windows are sealed pretty tight. Definitely neither are true. Yes they have led lights for all their light bulbs, but that’s about it. If I can smell my neighbors bbq with my windows and doors closed that’s not air tight nor energy efficient. ... More

Being a first time home buyer I didn’t know what to expect, there are so many steps and things needed it can be overwhelming at times. Shea Holmes and my Relator guided me through the whole process. Building the home was supper fast! Started the process in October moved in in March! Half the home (bones) was already built when we started in oct so it just needed to be customized. During the appointment to customize your home I would highly recommend writing down the names of the tiles and paint colors you pick out as I did not and was given the wrong kitchen backsplash. Since I signed off on the paperwork assuming i had trust that my choices were correct nothing had pictures of the tiles just names when I signed and I couldn’t change it once it was done now I’ll have to pay for it to be redone. Going through the process, from start to finish, with Shea Homes was extremely simple for us as first time homebuyers. They did a great job of keeping us updated along the way so we knew what to expect and when.

Good streamline process and communication throughout the whole buying and building process

Shea makes the extra effort, whether it’s extra care in leveling walls, changing to a better AC Vendor midstream or providing upgraded door locks, thermostats and garage doors. They even bought and installed longer fan operation chains when I let them know during the walk-through that they were too short.
