My home buying experience with SheaHomes was great. Eric and Marci made sure that I am comfortable at each step. There was no aggressive selling or any kind of rush. Both Eric and Marci are very prompt in their communication. Eric has a wealth of experience working with SheaHomes and Marci is very thorough in all the paperwork. The closing experience was good too and after moving in, their customer service continues with the great experience we have had till now. The build quality is excellent and there are no complaints at all. I recommend buying home with SheaHomes.

From the moment I inquired about buying a Shea Home, the experience was amazing. Everyone was great to work with and very understanding. They we're knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I really like what Shea offered over some of the other builders. Some of their options that other builders charge for were standard features for Shea. I really enjoyed working with the community rep, some of the design center reps, and the project manager. The excitement of having a new home built is so much fun and not having any issues made it that much more enjoyable. Any issues or concerns that were brought to their attention it was handled immediately and also confirmed that to me as the buyer. Supportive staff, Shawna, Laura, And Steve, were all most supportive, knowledgeable, and responsive.

Love the Ranch and layout, love the design of the homes, love the friendliness of the community. Disappointed in the quality of our home. One month punch list has 38 items to be fixed/corrected and growing daily. Just yesterday we both went into the bedroom and closed the door; couldn’t get out. Used the patio door and electric door to get back in.

Inside has minor issues. Landscaping & trash enclosure have issues that haven’t been completed.

It was the easiest experience one could ask for. The staff was helpful from beginning to end. Actually, they are still hopeful even after the build was finished. Very friendly.

The sales staff, Aimee in particular, was outstanding in their responsiveness and knowledge of the home, the design and the materials/finishes. The lot location is just what we wanted. Our primary difficulty in this purchase was dealing with the policies of Shea Mortgage. NOT the staff, they were really good at working with us. But taking several months to finalize the mortgage qualification process in our particular case was ridiculous. Especially in light of the fact we could easily of paid cash. But, it seems all of those "Hoops" were necessary for them to be able to immediately sell our mortgage after closing. To run the customer ragged as happened was really unnecessary. Had there not been an $8,000 incentive attached to obtaining the mortgage through Shea, I would have gone with my local lender and had it done in 30 days without the added stress and work required of me in providing documentation upon documentation. Fantastic communication and attention to detail. We never felt out of the loop. Zack and Krystal are amazing!

I was pleased with the fact that after the contract and options were agreed upon, no additional surprise costs arose. Also, despite COVID, Shea was able to complete the home on time as scheduled.

My sales girl was my saving grace. She helped me with the many questions I had. Moving from another state, being homeless for nine months while my home was being built and traveling with three cats and a dog, across the USA, to stay with friends and relatives, during Covid wasn't easy. D. C. was so wonderful to answer all my questions often, and always within 24 hours.

A lot of sloppy work. Paint spots on floors. Crooked stove vent. Countertops installation half-assed. Multiple cabinet scratches. Cheap toilets.

Shea is a first-class builder with unmatched attention to customer experience. This is my fourth “new home” purchase and the best, to date. Shea homes has great home designs.

The customer service stands out the most about Shea. The co is prompt on home issues on flaws.

The first word that comes to mind when I think about the homes built by Shea is Quality. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you have walked into a home where quality really matters, from the finishings to the sturdiness of the building. The salesperson gave us a great tour of the entire community and was very knowledgeable about the area. She showed us homes that fit into our budget which, in turn, helped us find our new home. We also looked at the homes being offered by the other builders in the community but they were either out of our price range or did not feel like the same quality that the Shea Homes have. Shea also have a great customer service program after the sale. Our representative has gone out of his way to find and replace one of the tiny lightbulbs in the vent over our cooktop! All in all, our experience with Shea has been very positive. We love our new Shea home! (By the way, I never give the highest rating because that leaves nothing for you to strive for!) ... More
