We have experience with Shea and know they are a quality builder, that is why we came here. We're had some minor issues, that are being taken care of. Like the window sills paint comes off easily when the shades are left down, then you pull them up, and all the paint comes off, laving you with bare wood showing. That shows the wood isn't absorbing the paint, so it wasn't primed or something else. Also, the lack of privacy for the homes being so tightly packed, we knew about but once you live it, its quite annoying, even though we have nice neighbors. I can actually here their knives and forks on their plates when they eat dinner, and their conversation while they sit at their table. That is a factor of it being so quite out here. I lived in high rise condo's with balconies near each other and noise kept it more private. But the builder experience, and support staff has been excellent. Shea builds a great home with attention to detail throughout and friendly, helpful employees helping every step of the way. The punch list post-sale was small and quickly attended to. We could not be happier.

What we liked the most is the aera, super quiet and all very quiet, the mountains, the view is relaxing, perfect for us who like tranquility, neighbors very friendly and quiet, the green area to walk super, the Lake that is very relaxing, they have club house with pool and recreation area for families reunite, and the beautiful house, the style will open and spacious many windows that enters perfect light everything, a lot rooms they are perfect for The only thing was the price a little high, but the area is worth it and it is possible because everything has risen but if we also pay more for the updates that we added. The overall experience was very easy and great. I am a little disappointed in the lot sizes that were available in the collection. But again overall very pleased

All in all, we've a had a pleasant experience building with Shea. Our construction manager Wes was great and took care of the majority of the issues on our final walkthrough. This left only a few things for warranty repair and Barb has been responsive to our needs. All the trades are friendly, professional, and respectful. I would build with Shea again if we had the opportunity in the future.

This is the second home we build and the Shea experience was much better than the previous one. Quality and customer service were exceptional.

We signed our contract when the house was being framed so we didn’t not get to make any selections or changes. The construction team was very responsive and stayed on schedule. The end product is beautiful and so far we have had very few warranty issues. We love our new he and the neighborhood!

Great incentives were the key!

The sales staff, building foreman, and design center were all excellent to work with. I believe you get a good value for your money at this price point. There are two unresolved issues with the house that are unresolved and so far they have not fixed them under warranty. I’ve been told they will not cover these issues and have dug their heals in. I hope is we can come to an agreement on these two issues.

Overall our experience with Shea was great. The responsiveness of the sales team was a little lacking at times, and they struggled to get timely updates from the construction team and convey that information to us. The close out superintendents were outstanding and very responsive and professional. Our experience at the design center was also outstanding. We were a bit frustrated by certain things being options rather than standard at this price point (i.e. drywalling the garages), and the option pricing for the walk out basement was very misleading in that there is a lot premium for a walkout lot, but then another $48K option that is essentially mandatory for the walkout foundation. The foundation adder really should be rolled into the lot premium to be more transparent about the real cost of a walkout. ... More

We had a positive buying experience through Shea Homes. In all, it was about a 2 year process (1 year to secure a lot, 1 year to build). Mac and the Shea team were always straightforward, easy to work with, and responsive whenever we had questions. Alex managed the building process well, and was attentive with any building needs. After we moved in, Conor was quick to help with any warranty needs. While the price did increase while we were waiting for the lot, it was still a good value when we closed (especially compared to the market). We would buy with Shea again in the future.

The whole process with Shea Homes has been great! Moving in went very smooth and the whole team has been awesome. The couple of items that didn’t get completed prior to move in have been difficult to get scheduled and had a minor miscommunication but outside of that Shea builds an amazing product. Amy and team definitely created an experience like no one else and we highly recommend purchasing a new home with Shea!

Shea Homes is a fantastic builder and creates high quality homes. The contracted workers who assist with the builds are not always the most mindful of their work, but Shea’s team is quick to make sure mistakes are addressed and fixed immediately. I do recommend hiring your own inspector (with any new build) to help find any errors.

Just don’t have any timeline expectations for anything from the build, landscaping, appliances, and you won’t be disappointed.

The Shea team stood out the most. Mac, Erin, Jeb, and Mitch were all fantastic to work with.

Shea builds a high quality home and pays attention to the details. The home designs are what really sold us though. They are well thought out for today’s family lifestyles.
