despite a few cosmetic issues that have or will be resolved, this has been the best home purchase I have made. I love my Shea Home.

Great planned community to support the type of lifestyle we live in Colorado for with all the planned trails and access points to the mountains, as well as Chatfield! There is something for everyone at every age level. My little fur babies love the community! Oh, yes, the house is awesome and has the best layout a chef could want. There is elbow room on all floors.

I was constantly getting requests for information, over and over. Should ask for it all at once. The design studio is totally inadequate. Much too small, and the person in charge of it needs to be more available. There are also way too many selections that should be standard, and items should not be grouped together.

Quality and trust is very important to us we received both.

Communication with the builder was excellent. Responsiveness was very good. Quality of construction is very good compared to other national builders, there were several workmanship issues related to rippled facia on the outside of the house that become a nuisance eyesore as well as gaps in the roof of the covered porch. The biggest issue to date, 3 months post closing are multiple power failures. I cannot recommend this particular Shea site if the local power infrastructure cannot handle the growth in the area. This must get resolved with the power company as it will force more expense for generators to protect the customers home. ... More

Once you sign the contract for your new home the fleecing begins. Everything you saw in the model home now becomes “extra”. What you signed for is a very cheaply made bare bones shell that you now have to pay for upgrades to. Our upgrades that really are not good quality nor what we would actually pick ourselves came to around $180,000 additional. On top of that you were stuck with combos that they made you purchase together. For example, cabinets came with predetermined countertop and tile. Want.a nice cabinet? Get a cheap countertop. Want a nice countertop? Get a cheap cabinet. Since we had already signed the contract we opted for nothing and are gutting the house and getting what we want for half the cost. To date our overall experience has been very good . We love our home and the trilogy community ! The sales and customer service teams have been very responsive . The community and amenities are fantastic . We have some quality issues with our concrete that have left us disappointed and hold us back from fully recommending Shea .

Not pleased with the quality of the finishes and appliances at this price point

We are very pleased with the house we bought and are overall satisfied with the quality of the construction and the responsiveness of the aftermarket team. Our inspector did not find any major issues, and Peyton was quick to fix them before closing. After we moved in, some minor things have come up and Carlos has helped us fix them promptly. Our buying process was not what we had expected, mainly due to the treatment we received from the sales agent Theary. All through, we felt as if we were asking her for a favor and received a push back on every single request. Repeat buyers, love our new home!

We had been looking for a builder that fit our lifestyle and Shea hit all the marks. From time of our first meeting to the closing the Shea team was available for all our questions and kept us informed of the process of the building of our home. We are very pleased with the home we purchased from Shea and would recommend them to others who are looking to build a home.

Our home buying experience with Shea was outstanding from start to finish! We were interested in their spec homes and Frank reviewed the various models with us numerous times. He was an unending treasure trove of information. All of the office staff and ambassadors were really great to work with. When we decided on a spec home our experience got even better. We were introduced to Seth, our construction manager who also answered our trillion questions with unending patience. The entire team kept us in the loop as they finished building our home. We were definitely WOWED when we saw the finished product. There were very few issues during our initial walk-through and again during our 1 month review, but all were handled expeditiously and to our satisfaction. Overal it has been a good experience

We have experience with Shea and know they are a quality builder, that is why we came here. We're had some minor issues, that are being taken care of. Like the window sills paint comes off easily when the shades are left down, then you pull them up, and all the paint comes off, laving you with bare wood showing. That shows the wood isn't absorbing the paint, so it wasn't primed or something else. Also, the lack of privacy for the homes being so tightly packed, we knew about but once you live it, its quite annoying, even though we have nice neighbors. I can actually here their knives and forks on their plates when they eat dinner, and their conversation while they sit at their table. That is a factor of it being so quite out here. I lived in high rise condo's with balconies near each other and noise kept it more private. But the builder experience, and support staff has been excellent. The Shes home’s team has been phenomenal! We have been very pleased with every step of the process!!!!

I’m satisfied with the home. Didn’t care for the building experience. It was extremely stressful. I’m still dealing with issues from the build, having to turn in warranty request to get items corrected!

My experience with Shea Homes has been positive on every level. I am loving my new home and would buy from Shea again.

If you get the privilege to work with Josephine, Richard, and Gibran you will be put at ease from homebuying to construction walk throughs. They explained everything and incredibly receptive to all questions.

Great Location and value for affordable prices

Great floorplans, although quality of workmanship in some areas leaves much to be desired

My salesman was very helpful and still continues to be if I have a question. The HOA in Woodleaf Reserve could have helped me a little more but they depend on you to read the small print. So far warranty work was completed successfully. I would have changed three things about my home and I've pointed them out to the salesman who agreed with me!

The subcontractor PSG Landscaping is ruining your reputation as a stellar builder. Between the combination of our warranty manager and PSG, our experience is: • Both our front and back lawns are completely riddled with lumps under the grass where you cannot walk 5 feet without turning an ankle. • We have a drainage problem in both yards but worse in the back to the point there have been washouts I could crawl through. And every time it rains it gets worse. It rains a lot in the Houston area. • The work is entirely substandard, and PSG is unwilling to do anything about it and the warranty folks don’t seem to have the governance over them to fix things right or in a timely way. Below are some of our experiences in dealing with this situation: • PSG has threatened to cancel our warranty. • Here we are in month two and nothing has been remedied. • PSG regularly misses promised dates and is unresponsive. • PSG staff are rude to your face and see no need to apologize for any of it. • PSG always does the minimum and hightails it out of here and it takes weeks to get them back. • We have to go outside with our dogs so they don’t get out through these washouts. • When PSG fixes something, invariably they break or disable something else. • PSG leaves our gates open after doing work here so our dogs end up getting out even though there are signs posted on both gates. • We have been watching all their work around the development and it’s all the same low standard everywhere. • Our warranty manager Brandon boasts of not responding to customer needs after 5 and before 8. Sometimes he completely ignores our voicemails or texts. He is completely ineffective with PSG. • The entire chain of command in warranty appears to be afflicted this way. • We end up going weeks before anything is done let alone getting a response from warranty. • When something is done, it’s more of the same substandard work. We have a pie shaped lot and a lot of yard for our dogs. I think PSG's experience is limited to very small yards because they have completely failed here. ... More

As close to a custom home as possible without paying custom prices. Josh, the sales rep was refreshingly honest, and they worked with us throughout to help us get the deal done. Jeremi, our connection super was very helpful in all aspects of the process. Highly recommended!

Very frustrating that after 2 months of buying a brand new home, Shea still has not done anything about our concrete driveway that is completely stained and dark. They have offered to acid wash it, which they still haven't done. We were told that doesn't work , they may not cover this at all. This is very unacceptable for a home over 3MM, and very disappointing that Shea wouldn't take care of this.
