Lovely experience with Shea Homes ! I would definitely recommend .

Many nice people living in the community, lots of events, clubs and something to do for everyone. Shea Homes salespeople are wonderful to work with. Many things in the choices need to be improved upon when designing the home. Better attention to individual homes for completion. Move in inspection should be improved upon also.

Sales team was great up until I dropped of the deposit check, and then communication was sparse. They neglected to tell me what was in the model homes but not in my unit, and no option for any changes or additions before drywall went up. They are slow to fix problems and some of the problems have returned. Other problems were 'within tolerance' and not fixed. The location is excellent, but feels overpriced for what you get (no yard here and very high HOA dues.) It's fine, but probably not the best choice for me - was hoping for more than just 'fine.'

Since it was our first time buying a new home, we had a lot of trepidation and questions. From day one, Libby, Helen, and Kelly greeted us warmly and sincerely. Throughout the whole process, Kelly guided us professionally and answered all our concerns. SHE IS WONDERFUL! Through the actual building of our house, Darren and Tracy were EXCELLENT! They tended to every detail and were top-notch in seeing that our house was built well. We would definitely recommend Shea Homes! Everyone was attentive to our requests and positively responded with good results.

Was a terrific experience, Tammy at sales office was such a pleasure to work with. Dan the warranty officer has been very helpful and attentive. Facilities and staff at Club and pool are great.

Great workmanship and Warranty follow up is first class. Thanks James and Daniel. We are very pleased. This is our seventh or eight build and our best.

The experience up to the closing was great, but once you sign your name on the dotted line, good luck getting anything done. The warranty department is like pulling your own teeth, they have a lot of excuses for any problems you bring up, after you move in you’ll start finding issues with the poor workmanship.

the build time exceeded over a year. this was unacceptable and caused us to lose our rate lock. our construction manager was fantastic and communicated terrifically.

We know people that have bought in other Shea communities - Washington, southern California and Arizona. Build quality and process is night and day over Shea Trilogy Valor. The build quality has fallen short in most major categories, both interior and exterior. We were advocates of Shea Homes prior to buying into Valor. The only bright and shining stars in the home buying process are the warranty specialist and the representative of the homeowner's association! Very attentive, efficient and knowledgeable. some accessories used is old fashioned, Dimmers, Dimmable bulbs, Softclose toilet seats.

There is a lot of below-quality workmanship we found out. Most electrical power outlets were installed unsymmetrically. The kitchen cabinets have a lot of dings. One of our windows is uneven measurements. That's what we observed within the first few weeks of moving in

Great construction manage - very well managed

HVAC seems to be poorly installed. Multiple issues in first couple months in the home. Walls cut open everywhere, mold from condensation.

To sum this up: the field people are terrible at quality control! Going back and forth 3-5 times for the same issue is poor management.

Everyone we touched from Shea are so helpful and trustworthy. All minor issues could be fixed asap.

Sales team was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made the purchasing process fairly easy. Our issues started toward the end of the construction process: inconsistent quality control, pipes that were hanging 12 inches lower than they should have been in the basement, and a water heater that needed to be moved 3 different times. It was difficult to get concerns addressed throughout construction and during the final walkthroughs. We kept being told “well, it was built to our standards.” If that’s truly the case, Shea Homes needs to re-examine its standards. The goal was clearly to build our home as quickly as possible without much attention to detail. The sales team (Lorena, Spencer, Josephine) communicated very well and in a positive manner. They were always responsive. Our interior designer, Lorri, was excellent and great to work with. Angel, the superintendent, was awesome and very knowledgeable of new residential construction. Superior workmanship, materials and quality building. Overall, we are thrilled with our brand new beautiful Shea Home! It's truly a dream come true!

Hard to communicate with builder ….only text messages his phone mailbox always full. I understand delays but communication important! He was better toward end of construction _ mind you a year and half! I had one month appointment and still two issues not resolved? I’ve called twice - no call back? It’s been a month - I’ll have these two issues on the 5 month appointment- a few other things are needing attention as well! I get new homes always have issues - usually simple but would be nice for at least a call back.

From the initial visit at Dunes the sales office did a great job reviewing the lots and the purchase process. Our experience with Shea mortgage was very disappointing, the agent had no clues to look into our credit and assets . I would not recommend working with the mortgage company. Once we got our loan approval from another agent, the home buying became fun, the design center agent was very helpful to select options , the walk through was absolutely incredible, very thorough, and educational .

It started out great and then was just average overall. I would most likely not purchase through Shea if I were to do it all over again.

The buying experience was very seamless. Post buying the customer service of builder was very prompt. Over all I am very happy with the purchase

Our trilogy representative Kim did an excellent work from the beginning through the end. She communicated with us until May 14,2023 and we were surprised that on our closing date she no longer is with trilogy. We were not able to properly convey to her how grateful we were. Wish we could have met her in person that day.

Took way too long to build this house. It would sit for weeks at a time with nothing getting done. After an entire year they still changed our close date and messed up our schedule to get additional work done. I would not have purchased if I knew then what I know now. We would have never started working with Kristen if we knew then what we knew later......she made the experience uncomfortable. Also. house appraised for a fair amount less then what we paid for it,

Stay on top of each phase with the length of time it takes now to build a home and the number of homes each building director has to oversee!
