Way too techie for me!!

Working with the PMs were great, all of them were punctual, easy and quick to respond, updated us constantly to know where we are in the process. We even were ahead of the target date and that was relayed to us for preparation of the move. Overall a great experience for my first new build

Shea homes are very attractive. Quality is very good. We love our home.

Love our house. Excellent quality in workmanship. Whenever anything issues quite right they are on it immensely. Amos is our warranty person and he is exceptional. It’s been a great experience.

Overall, the purchase of our condo at Fox Point Farms has been great. Customer Service has been excellent! Victor is great! He responds right away, and repairs are addressed efficiently in good quality.

Construction manager was great, I truly appreciate his expertise, attention to detail and professionalism. Sales representative was always very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed working with them both.

Great experience with shea homes. Their sales team and warranty is unbeatable, we got the exterior and lot that we preferred. The only issue that we found out is the noise isolation is not properly took care of. Same washer and dryer, but the noise is soooo loud! I feel the entire house can here, but I feel the distances and location almost the same in my previous house, I did not hear that much, that's why I deduct the two points from the quality of workmanship and materials.

My wife and I have recently closed on a Shea Signature home in Scottsdale AZ. All of the Shea team members we have met have been spectacular. They are kind, patient, helpful and very quick to reply to a call, text or email. Throughout the entire process from the quote to the design to the follow up and visiting the site they have never let us down once. They are consummate professionals and who would gladly purchase again as well as recommend to our family and friends. As an engineer I was extremely detailed and curious about many details in the construction and the home. Since we closed I hired a plumber for some additional work such as a water filtration system in the garage for the whole house and other items. They have shared by their observation that the quality of the build and the logic of construction matters are both very up to date as well as to high standards. That was reassuring as I am not in the construction business. We love the quality fit and finish of the floors, walls, cabinets, counter tops, etc. no loose ends or sloppy work. The punch list was minor and negligible. We also received the house so spotless it was beyond expectations of clean. Working with Shea was a great experience at every stage of the process. The buying process was straightforward. The Design process seemed like it would be overwhelming, but the professionalism of the staff made it simple. Project Management was exceptional. We loved how Shea kept us engaged throughout the construction process. Truly a first class experience.

The whole home buying experience was actually pretty easy. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The bill quality of Shea Holmes borders on five stars. I gave it four stars because they were just some silly finishing mistakes that really should’ve been captured and addressed prior to us moving in. Mostly painting so it was just cosmetic touchup stuff but still at the price point they should’ve found these.

Shea has a quality team and produces their homes on time. Selections are limited with some choices being very dated in style. Overall a good experience based on the other large builders we have been involved with.

We are pleased with quality of our home for the price. We like the home layout, the desire to please client with both house walkins before closing and subsequent months after closing. Would buy from this company again

Experience overall was very good. Sales staff was exceptional to work with. Superintendent of construction and associate were both extremely helpful and showed great attention to detail throughout the build process. Worked with Shea Mortgage and staff was also great to work with. We’re very much enjoying our new home. Only minimal items found during first 30 days of occupancy, but response to addressing a couple of items has been slow. Otherwise, I can’t say enough positive things in regard to our experience to date.

As new residents to Colorado, we stumbled upon the Lyricas we were transitioning from leasing to purchasing. Ideal location, spacious home, good workmanship. We made a great choice.

Guy and Mike were both great. Mike especially really helped us out and "held our hands" as needed to cross the finish line and he continued to reach out and keep us informed. The issues for the 4 stars were mostly small, but needed addressing. There were issues with the carpet and "tacks" sticking up which pricked feet as we walked on the edges. On the price, as we got the eggs in our basket, the price increased at least two (2) times. I realize that things can increase, but it seemed overly aggressive.

We planned to buy our first house 1-2 years later, but when we saw SHEA Homes, we didn`t want to miss this opportunity. Thanks.

The Sales team at The Reserves Lone Mountain was always helpful, responsive and made the process less stressful. Overall I give the sales Team 5 stars. Everyone was always helpful and sincerely cared for my concerns. The only thing that is stressful is that non of the other departments that handle everything after closing do not focus on client satisfaction to level sales did. Don’t get me wrong I do believe in the Shea Homes Product.No home is perfect after completion. But I feel like there should be more organization and communication between Trades and builder during repairs done after closing. And this critique is not aimed at anyone in the warrenty department. I understand and am aware they have to follow Shea’s policy. They need to make a system that allows trades to know what needs to be fixed or replaced prior to visit. And trades should take up their issues with builder not the customer when shea sends them for repairs. As it is stressful and feels like a full time job for 1 year warranty process of fixing everything. As someone who has built more than one home. My advice to Shea for my overall critique. FOCUS ON HOW YOU can make the client experience better for repairs. Implement a check system like Camelot prior to closing of repairs important to the customer. Focus more on the clients concerns prior then after closing. This will lead to SHEA enhancing its client satisfaction. As I stated above as someone who has built many homes with a number of different builders. If Shea Corporate! implemented some new things for their employees for the system of repairs prior and after. I truly believe the brand and product would be near or better then competing builders around the valley if they refocused this one aspect seeing is that the product itself is great. But wear and Tear items done during building need to be solved before closing. As it ads overwhelmingly to the one year warranty experience as stated above. I am aware nothing is perfect. But I believe there is always room for improvement. I do recommend the product but I recommend that any items damaged before close be resolved or have a solution communicated prior as well. If that small possible improvement in the system was achieved, I do feel like I’d be able to give a full 5 star review rather then 3. I truly believe that if Shea implemented the improvements I stated above it would lead to even a greater success as a brand. Shea Homes if you Read this ! Out of all your competitors I’ve worked with on new home projects! You currently take 2nd place but you easily could be first if you implemented new policy and procedure that allowed people to move in to their house with there items of concern fixed. And yes it can be done. As I have had a happier experience with Camelot in my post close experience. Your next question why didn’t you build with Camelot again then ? Because I did not like the location of any of the new community locations. They were either where god lost his shoes or in a neighborhood that did not yet feel improved or safe. Back to Shea. The house quality is very good. But the price is too high.

Shea representatives were professional and the community is very attractive. The buying process was straight forward and structured in such a way that the number of decisions was minimized. Once under construction, the project manager was responsive to my questions and the quality control rep was very thorough in her explanation of all the features of my new home. Overall, my experience was excellent.

We love the area. The ancient and modern description fits this area perfectly. Our views are priceless. Tony, Gina, Todd and Scott helped us whenever we needed it. Great people! Great homes! Blessed to be a part of it all! Thank you! 10/10 review!

Overall quality is very good. Final exterior paint splattered and dripped on concrete. I'll try to power wash... Concrete cleanup could be much better. Very happy with Shea Mortgage!!!

Loved working with Josephine and Alex in the sales office. Same with Angel with the construction team. And Gabriel on the Home Warranty team. Everyone has been great. Friendly, honest and empower the homeowner with information and knowledge. This is my third home purchase and definitely the best experience 100%. Would highly recommend Shea Homes to anybody looking for a home.
