Overall the home is solid. Sales office was professional and responsive to questions during the purchase and prior to closing. However, the inability to make simple electrical or plumbing change to the interior "cookie cutter" electrical and plumbing design was frustrating! Very surprised at some of the pre-determined choices. It's the "details". Why puts a shingle roofs on an a $700k home in hail country? (We Understand costs...) Why put decor electrical switches throughout the home, but "old style" (round) plugs? They don't match. Upgraded to a tankless water heater, but "recirculation" plumbing upgrade was not offered as an upgrade to accompany to tankless heater. Very poor "stewardship" of completed trades' work by follow-on tradesmen. (Examples available). Lots of patching and fixing prior to move-in. For example, the upgraded stair railing looks Great, now; but the patches required to fix all the dents and scratches can be felt as one runs their hand along the railing. Excellent, excellent warranty follow-up by Shea's representative. "Above and beyond!" Again, overall a "solid" home which we hope to enjoy for many years to come. The home buying process was good. They kept constant communication with me throughout the build. The home has many smart features that other builders don’t use so it’s nice to see that. The workmanship of the home is good, there were some areas that could have been done better. The team is working with me now to get those things fixed. Overall decent experience.

I really enjoyed working with Korbin, he was knowledgeable, very responsive and always on top of things. The construction was quick, but with that as usual there were some issues. Even things that were pointed out months in advance didn't get fixed before completion, and still haven't been fixed 2 months after move in even after promised within 10 days. Overall 4 out of 5!

Shea allows a home buyer to work with the teams to answer questions and address issues.

Our Sales Person and Field/Site Manager were willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. Above and beyond what might be expected.

This was our first experience dealing with a large builder and we were pleasantly surprised. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns and they got the home done on time - even in the middle of a pandemic.

Had good experience with sales staff. Construction is really good quality. Stuck to timelines and kept me informed. Everyone was available for questions and answered them timely.

I will buy again w shea

The builder was on time even with the pandemic. The time was followed. The downside is when we asked about the backyard to the Sales team how large it would be, the answer they said, it would be similar to the model homes. That wasn't the case. It was smaller. As a buyer, we would expect the same exact thing from the model home. Also, solar system comes with the house, but it's taking forever to get the activation done.

Buying a house from Shea Homes has been nothing but an amazing experience. We are extremely pleased with the service that the whole team has provided.

Good build quality, but not great. Sales process was simple and streamlined. Overall a good experience except for HOA CC&Rs - overkill for 70 home tract.

Kudos to shea for coming up with a new, innovative, out of the box floorplan. Our single level flourish model is beautiful and we love it! Only wish that the design center had more samples of their finishes. Some of the samples did not show the variations in the material (which is normal), but not to the extent we encountered. Although it was a little misleading, we made it work, and after 90 days we're still in love!

Overall the experience was easy and fairly quick.

As a first time I was apprehensive of how it will be, but the Shea team helped me step by step throughout the home buying process. Most importantly since I was one of the first 3 buyers in this community we got a really good value for money.

Working with Shea has been a very positive experience. I have nothing but great things to say about them. My one negative has been the third party landscaper chosen which is Gothic Landscape. If I had known how unresponsive and unreliable they are, I would have waited to do my full landscaping with another vendor after closing.

Shea started off with a good online tool to monitor progress of building process, but found it was not keeping pace with build out.

I love the design and value of Shea homes, over all I would say they are a better than average builder. Depends on which customer service representative that being assigned, responsiveness is from bad to excellent. I had good and bad experiences with them.

Shea produced a solid home and have been responsive to issues.

It’s hard for me to accept that when you buy a home the brand new oven trips the breaker. Shea knew before the purchase and said nothing. Now I’m stuck waiting on a part that is three more weeks out to hopefully fix the issue. It’s already been 10’ weeks. I’ve now learned it’s a know issue with many homes in the area. Josh and Jeremi were amazing! From the very beginning, Josh made sure the selection, design, and approval process went smoothly. Once the building began, Jeremi was consistently communicating and made sure we were up to date with every phase. I could not be more happy with the home buying experience because of Josh and Jeremi. It is very expensive buying a home. Upgrades are extremely overpriced, but it’s the cost of doing business.

Number of small details are missed. Over all a solid house but they are no longer as premium as they used to be. They have cut cost considerably and there finishes are not as they used to be.

it is a good house at this price in this time. quality materials and constructions. i will recommend my friends and family if they are looking for a house.
