Mike is dependable and will do his best to help, although sometimes his hands are tied. Overall experience is more corporate than I would have liked. There are not enough bodies to do the work in a timely manner.

We signed our contract when the house was being framed so we didn’t not get to make any selections or changes. The construction team was very responsive and stayed on schedule. The end product is beautiful and so far we have had very few warranty issues. We love our new he and the neighborhood!

Excellent experience for a first time home buyer.

We have been in the house (with solar) for two months. As of today, the solar is not turned on. Lots of discussion of why. However, no results. Just got the first PG&E bill. Please resolve.

First time buying a new construction home. Home was delivered on time but there were several open issues that were rushed in order to deliver on time. From stucco repair issues, incorrect water softener, incomplete tile finishes, and even refrigerator issues. This house was close to $1M, I expected the service and quality to be better.

Outstanding on site realtor Team led by Tammy. Numerous repairs and fixable workmanship issues but Dan from Shea quick to resolve with supply chain issues out if his control. GE Appliance package picked by design team has been the worst experienced in over 50 years, they have a local repairman that has taken our package and spent tireless hours repairing and ordering our replacement parts with no problems, GE warrinty employees are a joke and cut them out of our issues so we could have a normal time line to repair there inferior products. The Shea folks are also outstanding with one weak link, if there on site inspector would have been engaged we would have certainly cut the repairs and screw ups by 50% or more. We love the house and the area so we are spending our first 3 months babysitting vendors to repair all the things the inspector should of had done before closing. ... More

Overall good communications and progress reports. Overall good quality of materials and construction.

The Trilogy community is great although Shea was not transparent about the community restaurant and Spa being open to the public. Unfortunately the public depletes availability of these amenities for the members that pay for them. The standard finishes are very outdated which means you have to pay for tons of upgrades just to get finishes that don’t come from the 90’s. When you purchase a home you will have to put in about 30% of the purchase price in upgrades to get to current acceptable finishes. Love the community. Need more people in their 50’s so we have more ACTIVE adults.

The Trilogy lifestyle and community is all I hoped it would be, and more. I am happy to be here!

Its been a great experience. Having the walk thru was great and everything was thoroughly explained.

Sales lady was not helpful and was rude during closing, created so much confusion between the loan lender and us. The warranty guy sucks, doesn't even respond to emails, have items pending to be fixed from customer-walk through about 3 months ago. The Shea loan guy was just as bad, had to complain to his manager to get him to respond to my emails to get a Shea loan. Overall, almost backed out of the deal because of how horrible the staff and their dealing is. It was very stressful and frustrating at every step. The floorplan is great which is the only reason we bought it.

The entire buying experience was easy and everything was explained in detail. The home is beautiful and the smart home features are extremely helpful.

Compared to other new builds. The quality for price is outstanding. We haven't encountered many issues with the house, and the few we have were corrected quickly by Shea's warranty department.

From the very first interaction at the sales office, to our first builder meeting, to the walk throughs and into our first month with the warranty team it has exceeded expectations. All functions work together vs feeling like we’ve been handed off and all genuinely seem to care about us, our family, our home and the build process.

Overall, it's been a terrific experience contracting with Shea for our new home in North Scottsdale. New to AZ from the East Coast, the Shea team made the process relatively simple, efficient and comprehensive, with great communication and caring teams. The Sales team of Lynda and Paula made our transition easy to understand and complete. The construction supervisors, Todd and Kory, are absolutely terrific. Their communication and attention to detail made it unnecessary to visit the house during construction, using Teams and FaceTime to view progress and make decisions. The final hand-over of the house and subsequent follow up has been well-handled and efficient. Shea did very well ! My only suggestion to Shea is to include more "upgrades" as standard or provide an allowance for items that most everyone will want and ultimately order. However, the vendors and design team of Shea was incredible to work with and made the selection process smooth and efficient. All choices were included in our home as ordered.
