The follow up for repairs etc. is poor. The trades run Shea not the other way around. People show up unannounced and are not controlled. There is profit and there is overhead and things will not be so easy in the future as it gets back to more normal.

Exceptionally appealing project, homes, and designs. Good value for money. Sales experience extremely professional and transparent. Too many punch list items at close of escrow and I should have insisted they fixed more things before close as finishing things up as been ragged and slow.

They used a lot of extra material for the model home that I bought which I really did not like there was not any option to change any of it. Which I thought was not fair if I am paying $80000 Above the actual price due to upgrades I should have been able to make some changes They way I like it not to pay that much extra because someone else decided for me. The garage opening is super small. I wish they could make some changes to that every in and out of the garage is a challenge. And finally the loan department is not customer friendly at all. Many defects, poor workmanship by the crafts. Many things pointed out prior to close were not addressed. Hurry up and sell mentality. Terrible customer service manager who doesn't pick up or return my calls from me.

The Shea Team for my transaction is very professional and efficient. Robin, Amna, Matt, Rickey, Salvador are all very professional and respond almost instantly on issues during the transaction and after the sale. They care about the homeowners very much!

The Shae team was awesome to deal with buying our new house.

Move in and walk through was great. Had our one month service and everything has been corrected. Service is great and so is Casey. Love our home and the community

We closed on our home over 2 months ago and our solar panels still are not in working condition. When they were installed there was an issue with the wiring so as a result we’re on the hook for something that was supposed to be in working order at the time of closing. Might be another month before they can be fixed.

We had a great experience in buying our Shea home. The communication was great throughout the process from sales, construction and customer service. Shea included a lot of nice features so we were able to stay within our budget when selecting options. The workmanship and attention to detail was impressive. We love our new home.

I am out away from the country right now. I got my keys and the customer service gentleman was awesome. I’m so looking forward to move to the house next month

The sales team, Marci and Eric were amazing to work with. Work around our schedules and always made us feel excited. My only knock is that many things are not complete in our home, due to back ordering, which I understand but the communication (or lack there of) has been disappointing. We have no idea of when we will have these items installed.

Good overall experience. Be prepared to work with the builder after delivery on product and construction issues.

Quality of the home is good but minimum they need to give house for 1889 sqft for the price. On top, house rates shld be stable. Every 2 weeks 30 to 40k increase I did not like it. Communication is good Workers are good Work site manager is good

Great experience from the beginning to the moment we moved in. From the sales reps to the supervisors everyone was super helpful. The superior quality of our new home is very impressive.

Hmthe finish work is poor.

I don't even know where to begin. 1. False advertisement. 2. Shea Mortgage - difficult to work with and does not follow up or follow through. 3. Design Center - did not really help, they just agree to what you say so they can get you out of there. 4. Quality and workmanship was just overall poor. Month three and vendors are still in and out, like my house is still under construction. 5. Worst purchase I've ever made.

If possible, ask for Joy as your supervisor. She was very good. She listened and made things happen on a timely basis.

Buildind and Buying with Shae (considering Covid-19) was a clean, straightforward process. Our Field Mananager was a Star and our Mortgage agent was there to help us every step of the way! We did have issues with some products and timings (due to supply chain issues), but these issues were delt with as quickly as possible. All in all, a good experience.

We were lucky to have a very good, professional, quick responding general contractor. He seemed to be on top of situations all during the building process and again in the first year after closing.

I have a background in construction and built our last house of 20 years with a dear friend. After looking at numerous model homes from various builders, it was obvious that Shea Homes knows how to construct a quality home with workmanship that was far beyond the competitors. I also noticed other builders luring you in with low base pricing, only to see 3 times the typical mark up on upgrades in the design centers. This isn't something we experienced with Shea. Mark ups were very reasonable on upgrades, quality of craftmanship was above par and customer service was outstanding. Even with all the supply/worker issues that Covid brought, Shea stood by the original move in date which was really surprising. I can't say enough about how professional and courteous my Superintendent Jason was and also how our customer service rep James handled everything in stride with a smile. Proud to say this is my second Shea home!! Well my first brand new home and Chino never needed any repairs whatsoever this new one has a few very very minor issues which I understand is probably more normal. From the sales team to customer service they are very attentive and we are super excited about our purchase!!
