Carpet was very bad and even when their own people agreed that carpet is in bad condition, office guys just wanted to fix the problem

Top notch service from the sales team (Anne Marie & Jim)! I would rate them 6 star if I could. But the quality of the house built, especially the workmanship was at an extremely low level. I'm a bit disappointed by Shea Homes on that part.

The overall process great.I did the designing of the interior along with the color scheme via zoom and the rest is history.A beautiful end product.

Apparently this builder has a fantastic reputation, however our home was one of the very last built prior to completion of the residential site. It is evident throughout the property that the job was rushed; “sloppy workmanship” and mistakes that later had to be corrected - which is frustrating, time consuming, and forces me to miss career and other important commitments to redo work that should’ve been done right the first time. The experience of buying a home with Shea was great. The home I received was not what I expected.

Details are a problem with the end product

Made a mistake of buying a model home and paying for all those upgrades at high prices. Being a model home, the builder only kept up with the house to make sure the lights and AC were working for other to see. There were so many issues with the house like appliances not work, missing parts, lack of explanation/manuals for the options included in the home price, etc. Getting things reported and being taken care of is another stressful process that no homeowner should go through. Shea home should have been more responsible to ensure that a decent and working home is sold and delivered to the new homeowners...not after the homeowners to move in and have to deal with so many things to be repaired and serviced. I have to spending probably 30% of my time in the first month we moved in to wait for the repairs or service reps to come by. I bought several homes including new homes and this is the absolutely the worst experience of all. It has been 2 months since we moved in and still have thing not resolved from the walk-through inspection findings. ... More

Shea is not a custom home builder but has great options and is always evaluating changes when their clients give them feedback. I just built my second house with them in Encanterra and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

We are very happy with our home in Trilogy!

Only in the property 2 months and we have no complaints. All stated schedules were met and the staff is excellent.

We are extremely pleased with all the phases and personal interaction with everyone, as we are now on the second month living in our new Shea home — from the sales office, to the building process, to the new home follow ups — having a quality, personal contact during each step of the process.

- sale process is very friendly, transparent - design studio experiences the best - very clear messaging, directions through the process - loan/mortgage process is good - house construction is of best quality - after sale service is prompt and thorough - overall, shea one of the best to go for your deam home

Patience, Willy, Austin, and Eric have all been excellent. The level of service is outstanding, they each set appropriate expectations and delivered.

It’s very good experience. The sales people and site managers are good and helped us on timely manner. Only I am not satisfied is at design center. They didn’t even show options to choose and didn’t explained the options.. due to that I ended up with what ever they shown.

Love our house and location.

Get your own Home loan. The build team will sell it in less than 30 days and you may end up with some you you never heard of and not even like doing bussines with them for the next year. When they sold my loan in less than 15 dyas . I just dont like a company that i never heard of and is in 10 states over from here. no office all on the web.

This is our 3rd Shea home. Great builder!
