I think the project manager made sure we were happy with our home and on the whole, it was very good quality. However, some of the items we picked out were not what was installed. We picked out different doors than what were installed, that was a disappointment.

Overall the home is solid. Sales office was professional and responsive to questions during the purchase and prior to closing. However, the inability to make simple electrical or plumbing change to the interior "cookie cutter" electrical and plumbing design was frustrating! Very surprised at some of the pre-determined choices. It's the "details". Why puts a shingle roofs on an a $700k home in hail country? (We Understand costs...) Why put decor electrical switches throughout the home, but "old style" (round) plugs? They don't match. Upgraded to a tankless water heater, but "recirculation" plumbing upgrade was not offered as an upgrade to accompany to tankless heater. Very poor "stewardship" of completed trades' work by follow-on tradesmen. (Examples available). Lots of patching and fixing prior to move-in. For example, the upgraded stair railing looks Great, now; but the patches required to fix all the dents and scratches can be felt as one runs their hand along the railing. Excellent, excellent warranty follow-up by Shea's representative. "Above and beyond!" Again, overall a "solid" home which we hope to enjoy for many years to come. These homes are beautiful homes

I didn't know what to expect but Shea made the process easy, stress free, and positive. I was pleasantly surprised! A close friend of mine who had home building experience...literally....accompanied me throughout the process and was very impressed with everything he saw which only added to my assurance that I had made a good decision. Many times he said Shea went 'above and beyond'.

I could not have asked for a more smooth and better experience from start to finish. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but nothing ever did! I would highly recommend Shea Homes to anyone.

Being a first time home buyer I didn’t know what to expect, there are so many steps and things needed it can be overwhelming at times. Shea Holmes and my Relator guided me through the whole process. Building the home was supper fast! Started the process in October moved in in March! Half the home (bones) was already built when we started in oct so it just needed to be customized. During the appointment to customize your home I would highly recommend writing down the names of the tiles and paint colors you pick out as I did not and was given the wrong kitchen backsplash. Since I signed off on the paperwork assuming i had trust that my choices were correct nothing had pictures of the tiles just names when I signed and I couldn’t change it once it was done now I’ll have to pay for it to be redone. The builder did everything they said they were going to do and were a pleasure to work with throughout the project.

Going through the process, from start to finish, with Shea Homes was extremely simple for us as first time homebuyers. They did a great job of keeping us updated along the way so we knew what to expect and when.

The quality control and attention to detail was very poor on our new home. The entire house has flaws and sloppy work through and we were very disappointed with the quality of labor that was put into the finishes. We paid extra for two tone paint and could have had a far better job done elsewhere, paint is sloppy and not even through the entire house and now we are stuck with a subpar job that we paid thousands for and extremely unhappy with the paint and baseboards. They really let us down with all of the finish work and is not what we would have expected when spending this type of money on a new build. We are also very concerned and upset that are lot has no full dirt and is solid rock. We are unable to plant any live trees, bushes, grass, or plants because there is no dirt and just solid rock that is exposed in the backyard. I am having to spend tens of thousands of dollars to hire excavation teams to come in and jackhammer the back yard to level it to have any landscape done and to finish the yard which is beyond frustrating and not ok. Alison with quality control has been out several times now and great but we are really hoping that Shea homes steps in and makes this right. We are very disappointed with the build and the lot. ... Always very helpful and responsive.

A Problem I see is not at all a problem to the builder. Here I would like to share one of the weird answer I heard. In the living room, there are gaps between flooring and wall edge trim. At some parts there is a gap and no gap at other parts. When I asked about this, I got this answer... “Those gaps help to let the air flow and settle down the walls, also advised me not to fill those gaps.” Now I feel wind blowing through the gaps and Ants are passing by.

This is a beautiful, quality-built home. Nicely designed. The design center was a fun experience. The team of community representatives at Trilogy helped us get settled in comfortably, and will be a great resource going forward.

Great experience, very happy with our home!

I was frustrated with my experience because I relied on the models to represent (at least to the extent possible) what the features I selected would look like. In a couple of instances, the expectation and delivered product (both aesthetically and workmanship) were miles apart.

I’ve lived in four new builder homes and Shea’s quality and experience has been the best! The construction, customer care and finance team have been very professional! We owe a special thanks to Tracy for her support through the tough pandemic period!

Has been a fantastic experience with every part of Shea we have worked with.

Great floor plan and use of space.

To get the lot I wanted I had to purchase a Shea Designer home. This meant I could not add any options to the home. While I understand not being able to delete anything, I fail to understand why buyers are not able to add options like an outdoor fireplace which would have increased the sales price and profit of Shea, and would have been a huge service to the buyer.

Shea homes has been a positive experience for us. Every person on Shea team has been great to work with.

Colleen (sales agent) was very helpful. Everyone was very professional. Neighbors are incredible.

The sales center was awesome, got the lot on the lake and the very expensive upgrades, however the thoroughness in detail to a pristine home build missed the mark with the construction workers not paying attention to detail. The pandemic brought in poor quality workers and flawed workmanship. Quite a few things were incomplete and I did not have that WOW moment when moving in. Deep cleaning wasnt done, the home was dusty, tile and flooring did not look brand new, electrical glitches still happening with the breaker, missing under cabinet lightening, missing sprinkler heads, HomePro is useless still waiting on a couple of work tickets to be scheduled for service. Aesthetics and first impressions are everything. I needed to have that WOW moment of my forever dream home and I did not. Still waiting on Shea to circle back on service recovery. ... More
