My house was move in ready and could not have added another upgrade to make it perfect. Love the open space, the view and most importantly the quality in a Shea home.

Communication from the Sales Department has been exceptional. Understanding that we purchased our home at the onset of the COVID Pandemic, there have been some challenges; communication from trades & completion of punchlists have been the largest hurdle. All in all, we love our home and have enjoyed the process.

Don’t use Shea mortgage! And upgrade options are very overpriced. Things that can be done later, such as landscaping, are better to do on your own.

We are 2 months post move in and have nothing but great experiences to share regarding Shea. From the Sales process thru to construction, closing, move in, and post follow-up all experiences have been first class!

When buying a Shea home you get the most bang for your buck. Shea design center pricing is better than any other home builder out there with premium products.

Awesome experience working with Shea representatives all the way from Sales, Supers, technicians and Reps. Very prompt and responsive.

This was our first experience dealing with a large builder and we were pleasantly surprised. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns and they got the home done on time - even in the middle of a pandemic.

This builder promises a great experience but when things go wrong they run and find excuses Avoid ! Cheap quality and no finished product skills for price paid

Excellent experience! I ultimately bought my Shea home the virtual way! COVID-19 has changed many things for us all. After searching different Arizona areas and houses on line, I determined the Wickenburg Ranch development was a good fit. I love the terrain, the hills and mountains, the openness was extremely appealing! Gave me a sense of freedom.! Fortunately when I made contact with Shea homes for “move-in”ready homes, I was connected to Ted. Ted is a terrific person to work with. He conducted virtual tours multiple times on several homes of interest. I have to admit I procrastinated and missed opportunities. A few months later, I contacted Ted again and he helped me find a lovely home. Ted is an excellent resource and very patient. TaDa... .. I own a Shea home!! It is well built with modern design features and style! First time I actually saw my home was just before closing! My trust in Shea builders was on target! Thus far no problems or disappointments! How fortunate am I to have chosen a Shea built home! Also, the amenities and program offerings are impressive! I’m not a golfer but I enjoy the beauty of the landscape! Yup- I am happy camper!! Shea kept us very informed of all deadlines and set expectations for us as buyers. All records were documented and organized for us so there was no confusion as to what was agreed to and promised.

I love our home and am delighted that we found this area and home builder. It’s not a custom home and so we are adding what we like. I am however very very disappointed with all the outside area soil. I have never moved into a home that the builder did not improve the soil so that it was possible to plant. The other day I saw my neighbor shovels out water in his yard with a BUCKET! I thought a water line broke . I asked him what happened and he said: this is crappy soil - water can’t be absorbed . A very expensive and time consuming fix is required. That is deceitful and not necessary. You could definitely do better for your clients. ... More

Easy to work with and simple process.

Our sales person has been great, even throughout the pandemic/hurricanes/snow storms, she has stayed in touch with us. Throughout the build on the other hand there were several issues that were addressed but had they been done when first notified issues would have gone smoother. There is still items that have not been resolved since the walk through. Electrical items and lighting that was selected from the beginning, were forgotten and had to be installed later with more cut outs done to drywall. Other issues like; •Sprinklers system had a leak. •Double garage door is having issues. •Doors to backyard, handles are coming off. •Have found several areas where grout is missing in tiles. •The seal around main bathroom tub has cracks all around. ... Be active in your examination of the house and property, the company with follow up with problems that you find and repair them as needed.

The purchasing of this property was the worst experience I have ever had. Damaged products were put into my home and I’m still dealing with Neal for resolution. I’m going to reach out to the better business bureau and issue a formal complaint.

Quick review - The selection of options experience was terrible (didn't know the products, not helpful with selections). Follow through on making sure options on the home get installed was not good - forgot to put in insulation in key areas as an example - really need to keep an eye on the build process. Good news - after purchase support / follow through very good so it all eventually gets done. Still, home and options are very overpriced for the money...

Very impressed with my home. I love the floorplan and location so much. We've had some issues after closing and the warranty process has been great. All the different trades who have come to my home have been punctual, prompt, and professional. I'm extremely happy.

We appreciated the friendliness of everyone we have had contact with, and we were impressed by the timeline from start to finish. Even with COVID, weather issues, and a fire in the area that shut down all construction, the timeline was just one week off of the projected completion date. The home is beautiful, we love it!

All Shea Homes reps I was in contact with throughout the process were awesome and nothing short of helpful. Josephine was excellent during the purchase. Javier and Angel were great during the 1 month check. We love our new home!!!

After going through multiple previous home builds/renovations, our Shea experience was the smoothest ever. My husband and I appreciate knowing the details of how things work, and everyone at Shea was extremely helpful, informative and responsive throughout the process.

The on-site Super was just great!! He was always helpful and allowed me access when need to measure etc. The mortgage process was very easy and the incentives were very nice.

Great company! They helped us from start to finish. Many minor flaws with the house, but it was taken care of during our 1 month check in. Trusted!

Take your business elsewhere. Shea built us a subpar home that is not worth the premium pricing they asked for. There was very little receptiveness to criticism from us pointing out even the most obvious of issues. Ask to meet and talk to the construction manager before deciding to sign the contract.
