Supportive staff, Shawna, Laura, And Steve, were all most supportive, knowledgeable, and responsive.

we had a misaligned microwave, misaligned under sink bathroom cabinets (big one and you wouldnt notice until you put stuff in there) paint not cleaned in 2 of the windows, dishwasher they loaned (due to delay from covid) made a leak in our kitchen so we never got to use, crack on the wall, obviously bent fence -- we're 2 months at our home now and these except for the dishwasher and the bathroom cabinet are still the same. we were promised a touch up paint but never got it either. we've contacted them multiple times but nothing. there are things you wont really notice in the customer walkthrough so i suggest if you can really spend double the time given to be sure. some of it we told JAVIER (from the walkthrough, and the one assigned to fix things) even before closing but he said "you're going to delay closing if we fix this" which would be a hassle if you had moving plans already. he said we have the 1,5,11 month program (visiting the home to make sure everything is fine) so we can fix it then. well that 1 month have passed and guess what, only 2 issues got fixed. ... Our experience with Shea has been very positive, from identifying the community, spending time talking with the design, build, sales and support members who gave us comprehensive information. The homes are high quality with plenty of upgrade options available. The location of our Trilogy location is fantastic: close to shopping, medical and services needed. Plus it’s close to highway arteries that make transit easy.

dissappointed with the overall quality and lack of customer support...need to elevate any issues to corporate before anything gets resolved. 4 months after movein, still don't have all of the features operational. general quality is also dissappointing....virtually no sound insulation between 1st and 2nd floors, garage floor was cracked, numerous chips on driveway, fit and finish of cabinets is off, etc.

All of the people throughout the Shea organization from sales to construction, were extremely helpful

The loan process was laborious. The building process was top notch and a pleasure. Sales, design studio, and our construction manager, all great.

So far, so good...Glenn is great to work with regarding repairs as he is very responsive and communicates well. We have only been in two months but very pleased so far.

My heater went out and this was not considered urgent. It was only 60 in the house. My mom is 75 and can’t do stairs so she was freezing. But nope not even a call back. Ridiculous.

Felt some information when I purchased house was a little misleading and confusing on changes they made with price of home.

Your sales person lied and deceive us .I was told several times this was strictly 55+. Also you didn't declose Tilogy was being sold .Don't lie again and tell me Shea didn't know about the sale. I just put my house for sale. I won't be lied to any longer. I can only wish Shea falls on bad time as you deserve it. I believe in Karma. I only hope it will be good riddons sooner than later.

Love the Ranch and layout, love the design of the homes, love the friendliness of the community. Disappointed in the quality of our home. One month punch list has 38 items to be fixed/corrected and growing daily. Just yesterday we both went into the bedroom and closed the door; couldn’t get out. Used the patio door and electric door to get back in.

Inside has minor issues. Landscaping & trash enclosure have issues that haven’t been completed.

It was the easiest experience one could ask for. The staff was helpful from beginning to end. Actually, they are still hopeful even after the build was finished. Very friendly.

The sales staff, Aimee in particular, was outstanding in their responsiveness and knowledge of the home, the design and the materials/finishes. The lot location is just what we wanted. Our primary difficulty in this purchase was dealing with the policies of Shea Mortgage. NOT the staff, they were really good at working with us. But taking several months to finalize the mortgage qualification process in our particular case was ridiculous. Especially in light of the fact we could easily of paid cash. But, it seems all of those "Hoops" were necessary for them to be able to immediately sell our mortgage after closing. To run the customer ragged as happened was really unnecessary. Had there not been an $8,000 incentive attached to obtaining the mortgage through Shea, I would have gone with my local lender and had it done in 30 days without the added stress and work required of me in providing documentation upon documentation. All that said, we love being a homeowner at Encanterra and look forward to many years of retirement living. ... More

The building was carried on in a friendly and professional manner all through the process. We’re very pleased with the finished product and the follow-up is excellent.

Had a great experience thru the whole process

Be sure to be comfortable with the limited flexibility offered in the design stage of the process, and the complexity of the "smart" option.

Everything is good, but wooden material should be more good. During my first visit I saw wooden logs are dent and damage some places. Else it was good experience.

Builds a basic house with few frills, but some questionable "upgrades" ill suited to the Va. climate.
