Our experience has been awful. If we had to do it again, we would not. There have been so many imperfections that we have had to call about to get fixed since we moved into our brand new home. The response time is very slow as well. Disappointing!

Dear Lennar Customer Care Team, I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding the poor workmanship and materials in my new home. As a first-time homebuyer, this has been an incredibly disappointing and stressful experience, and the ongoing issues have prevented me from enjoying my home since moving in. Below is a summary of the outstanding and unresolved issues: Cosmetic and Paint Repairs - Paint touch-ups noted during the final walkthrough in the guest bedrooms and master bathroom remain uncorrected. The building site manager stated a technician would return, but no one has arrived. - A recent paint touch-up near the master shower tile was rushed and incomplete; the technician spent only a few minutes and failed to cover the necessary areas adequately. Master Bathroom Shower - The master bathroom shower floor had a hole that required a three-week replacement process through the warranty team. - The contractors hired to reinstall the shower glass completed a subpar, sloppy installation, leaving silicone residue all over the glass and hardware, that required a second trip to be corrected. - The shower plumbing is reversed: turning the knob to the hot water side yields cold water, and turning it to the cold water side yields hot water. HVAC and Air Flow - There is no airflow from the AC vent in the half bathroom, making the room consistently hot. - The master bedroom suffers from poor airflow. At night, the bedroom temperature reaches 77 degrees Fahrenheit despite the thermostat being set to 71 degrees. - The air vent in the main hallway is missing a filter. Appliances - The dishwasher door could not open fully due to an incorrectly installed part, which required a Frigidaire technician to repair. - Upon the closing of my home, the refrigerator door had a long scratch and the microwave contained food residue. While the building site manager replaced the refrigerator door, his subsequent communication regarding other issues was highly unprofessional. Blinds - I was previously informed that Lennar does not provide window blinds. However, every newly constructed home on my street—including unsold properties—has blinds installed. Given the volume and severity of these issues, this experience has fallen far short of the standard expected of a new Lennar home. The purchase was smooth and efficient. The quality of the home is. Insistent with the price. The Lennar team was very responsive and proactive. They made sure we were aware of features of the home and required maintenance items..

What influenced my rating was how the representatives were very kind and considerate of all my questions. They were very professional and I loved the atmosphere!

My wife and I purchased a newly constructed Lennar home with great anticipation, expecting to move in shortly after closing. Unfortunately, within days of taking possession, we discovered a concealed plumbing leak caused by a construction nail that had punctured a cold-water line inside an exterior wall. The leak caused extensive water damage, necessitating water mitigation and the removal of flooring, drywall, and insulation, along with several weeks of reconstruction before the home could be restored. I appreciate the professionalism of Maina *****, who worked diligently to coordinate the repairs, and Hugo, whose workmanship during the restoration was excellent. Their efforts were instrumental in bringing the repairs to completion. What most influenced my review, however, was that this issue appeared to have been preventable. During my independent inspection before closing, a damp area near the foundation was identified and brought to Lennar's attention during the final walk-through. We were advised that it was likely caused by lawn irrigation. It was later determined that the dampness was actually the result of the concealed plumbing leak. Although Lennar ultimately repaired the damage, the repairs delayed our move into our new home for several weeks and significantly disrupted our family's plans. We also requested reimbursement because we were unable to occupy the home as intended, but that request was denied. I appreciate the individuals who worked hard to restore our home, but the overall experience did not meet the expectations we had when purchasing a brand-new residence. From the very beginning of our home-buying journey to closing and even after moving in, our experience has been exceptional. The entire Lennar team was professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer our questions and address any concerns. The quality of our home and the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. Whenever we had warranty items, the team responded quickly and made sure everything was taken care of in a timely and professional manner. Their communication, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction gave us confidence throughout the entire process. Buying a home can be stressful, but Lennar made it an exciting and enjoyable experience. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make our dream of homeownership a reality. Securing this home was super quick! Everyone involved made the process to this home buying decision very easygoing ! I love my home. We have had some issues come up since moving in but customer service is super quick to respond and resolve all matters !

Very nice house. It is well built. The office people and Bradley were wonderful. Always ready to help with a problem. Highly recommend this neighborhood.

He responses to our concerns immediately. Even though he might not be the one, he takes his time to explain what we are to do and points us in the right direction.

Lennar is not able to keep its commitments. I will share my experience within our company home portal as well as or community social media.

Loan office Barry doesn't always reply to emails. When I called him, he give me the wrong information multiple times. Also, the roof leaked every time it rained due to a cracked and uncaulked vent. This house was on the market for months, how did the construction crew and sales people not notice this issue?

Buying our Village Builder home felt very streamlined because most of the design decisions and upgrades were already bundled in through Lennar’s Everything’s Included–style approach, so we didn’t have to nickel‑and‑dime every feature. The process from selecting the floor plan to closing stayed relatively simple, with in‑house mortgage options and coordinated closing support that kept paperwork and timing under control.

Our Sales Consultant was amazing. Construction managers changed towards the end. First was quick and attentive. Second started off slow but came around. Questionable quality from kitchen cabinet and driveway contractors. Mortgage process was subpar.
