The Brown’s Farm property harkens back to a young man’s dream in 1878. It was then that 10-year old Jimmy Brown developed a fondness for the Carroll County property and thought to himself, "Someday I’m going to own this farm." Jimmy’s dream came to fruition and he purchased the property during the early part of the Depression. The farm was nurtured by generations of the Brown family and transitioned through the years as a windmill business, dairy farm and cattle farm. The original windmill from the family farm still stands tall on the property, paying homage to the property’s rich heritage.
