This quiet lakeshore community is situated near the Saugatuck/Douglas area with easy access to Grand Rapids, Holland or Kalamazoo. Summer Grove is south of Douglas and less than a mile from Lake Michigan. It’s a short drive into Saugatuck and Douglas, where exceptional dining and arts offerings abound. Quaint shops, public beaches and superb restaurants are part of the attraction. Antiquing in the area is popular, and the summer comes alive with festivals and parades, live theater and excursions. With close proximity to Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids or Holland, it is also an appealing location for commuting options, as well as day trips to take in the cultural activities and museums in Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo. Summer Grove residents attend Douglas Elementary School, Saugatuck Middle School and Saugatuck High School.
