This small community on the banks of the Grand River blends rural, small town and suburban living with easy access to the state capital. Meadow Woods East, located in the Grand Ledge Public School District, is a small town that comes by its name honestly, with nearby sandstone and quartz ledges that provide some of the best – in fact, some of the only – rock climbing in Michigan. Mature trees line the Grand River in this central Michigan community that provides plenty of outdoor recreation. Activities are available just across the river at Fitzgerald Park, which has a disc golf course and nature trails.
