Yonkman Construction, Inc.

When you want to build you need a company that knows how to stand against a depressing economy, can help you get the best deals for your project, and still make sure that your project is both defined by you and you, your project. Yonkman Construction had rightfully earned an unrivaled reputation in Skagit and Island County for creative and innovative designs as well as superior craftsmanship and quality product that keep clients superbly satisfied with the end result and strengthen the client/builder relationship even way after the project is completed. Just as every client is different in their ideas, personality, and desires, Yonkman Construction takes this into consideration when crafting your home, making certain that when the keys are handed over, you know that it feels like you, through and through. They achieve this via open thoughtful, two-way communication, listening to the specifics you desire, and figuring the most feasible and functional way to make it happen. After building several custom homes in Orange County in Southern California, Greg and Scott Yonkman moved to Whidbey Island in 1979, where they founded Yonkman Construction. The company weathered the economic difficulty of the ‘80s and has grown steadily throughout the years since. In 2020, Greg and Scott Yonkman decided it was time to hand over the leadership and ownership of the company they had founded but made sure to only hand it over to someone who knew the company and what it stood for. Thus, they sold it to a longtime key employee, Curtis Banta in 2021 but still work with the company in the capacity of an advisor, helping Curtis Banta continue with his vision of preserving the tradition and reputation of Yonkman Construction. Contact Yonkman Construction and let your home be built with the heritage and legacy that has stood the test of time
