Pleasant Plains, an intimate community of just 40 homesites in Stallings, N.C., offers families the feel promised in the small town’s motto: “How Home Should Feel.” Nearly equidistant from Stallings and historic Matthews, Pleasant Plains enjoys excellent proximity to I-485 and US 84, major thoroughfares for prime access to Charlotte and major employers and employment centers. Big-city conveniences, from well-known retailers to popular eateries, are all right around the corner, and recreation opportunities abound. The community is less than four miles from the Siskey YMCA and five miles from the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex, with fields for soccer, rugby, lacrosse, football, field hockey, and more. For stepping out, Charlotte’s midtown, home of the Carolina Panthers and the Charlotte Hornets, are within 16 miles, while Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 30 miles away.
