Loft living is living different ??? It???s not for everyone. But, if you are drawn to soaring industrial spaces, teaming sunlight, and an artistic sensibility, Knickerbocker Lofts are for you. Westchester???s only true lofts are carved out of a proud building that originally housed the historic Knickerbocker press of G.P. Putnam???s Sons in New Rochelle. When you first see the vintage brick facades and signature tower you???ll know how this architectural landmark found its way into the National Register of Historic Places. The building embraces an eclectic mix of architectural variety in the entrances, windows, and ornamental brick work. Inside and out, each loft displays the lasting strength and character of a structure designed to house the powerful presses and bindery equipment that rendered the written word at the dawn of the 1900's.
