Bridgeland 50' (Creekland Village)

Creekland Village was inspired by the ecology of Cypress Creek Watershed and its diverse environmental offerings. The goal was to create a meaningful relationship between nature, water and residents. Preserving wetlands around Cypress Creek and its tributaries will be important and will result in carbon sequestration. Forested ribbon will transition into a series of woodland pockets, meadow patches, wetland areas and large ponds, all tied to the creek's hydrology. A 2.6-mile trail along Cypress Creek will link to the existing trail in Lakeland, creating a 5-mile trail system to connect with nature.
