Capella Park recaptures the days when homes in tight-knit neighborhoods thrived near the heart of a bustling downtown, close to all the action and energy of a major metroplex. Convenient to downtown Dallas, Capella Park offers that same kind of traditional neighborhood, with a 64-acre conservation area and several parks. The community also is close to Mountain Creek Lake Park whose 115 acres of wooded, rolling terrain include a pavilion, grills, playground, and trails. Located in the community is Clay Academy, a private school, while Dallas Baptist University is across the street. Children attend Duncanville Independent School District.
