Avalon at Telfair 90's

Taylor Morrison developed Avalon at First Colony, its first Avalon branded community in Sugar Land more than a decade ago. This exquisite community offered elegant custom homes on winding waterways. A sign posted at the entry boasted, "You are now entering paradise." Today, you can live in paradise at Avalon at Telfair, Taylor Morrison's community in Sugar Land. Only 20 miles southwest of downtown Houston, Telfair residents have use of miles of interconnected trails, village parks, playgrounds, and several swimming pools. And there are more than 70 acres of lakes throughout the community. Telfair's Central Pool is located on the corner of University Blvd. and New Territory Blvd. Telfair Central Hall provides a gathering place for residents as well as tennis courts.

Avalon at Telfair is being developed by Taylor Morrison in partnership with Newland Communities. Conveniently located south of U. S. 59 at University Blvd., residents have quick access to U. S. 59 and popular destinations, including museums, four shopping malls, restaurants, business centers, churches, and acclaimed Ft. Bend schools. A short walk from Avalon at Telfair, the University of Houston at Sugar Land campus offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 20 areas from four UH System universities. Avalon at Telfair features six lakes connected by landscaped parks and green spaces. Walking trails, bridges, benches, dramatic lighting and water features accent the landscape.
