Maybe you haven't because they are residents of a new and upcoming community known as Cinco Ranch. However, this growing community is certainly making their mark in Katy, Texas and isn't afraid to show it! What is one of the first things people associate with Texas... heat! Whether the Texas sun has tanned your skin for years, or you are moving from out of state, there are many ways to escape the heat in Cinco Ranch. Choose from cooling off at The Lake House Pool, the 6 neighborhood pools, The Water Park, or The Beach Club on the sandy shores of Lake South. Each of these has much more than a refreshing dip to offer. You host events at The Lake House or enjoy fishing, catch and release only, kayaking and paddle boating. Or are you looking for a work out? Join The Golf Club and take on the 18-hole golf course or perfect your backswing at one of the 13 tennis courts. You can also walk, run or bike throughout the network of trails connecting the neighborhoods. To please the explorer in you, hike the Bayou Nature Trail. If you are up for a challenge find the connecting Buffalo Bayou Hike and Bike Trail or the Exer-Trail around Lake South. Cinco Ranch provides an endless amount of recreational options for all ages to enjoy time outdoors. Although we wish we could play all day, some people have to work. Lucky for you, getting to and from work is no obstacle at all. The Katy Tollway- Managed Lanes now connects the 610 Loop to Highway 6 making a 23 minute commute to the Energy Corridor. If your destination is the Galleria/Post Oak, the Westpark Tollway will get you there quick and easy in 30 minutes. Running errands aren't fun either, but there are a variety of stores like Randalls, H-E-B, Kroger and Super Target throughout and near Cinco Ranch that will help you cross everything o
