Willow Wood is a 306-acre master-planned community of over 850 home sites to be delivered in multiple phases. Planned amenities include two centrally located amenity centers (part of the initial phase of development) consisting of a large swimming pool and splash pool, a cabana building with restrooms and covered seating area, additional shade structures, and a generous pool deck area. Plans for the second amenity site include a large pavilion, basketball court, and age-appropriate playground structure. In addition, plans call for a hike and bike trail system encompassing the entire community, a future elementary school site, a future City of McKinney park site, and extensive landscaping throughout. Willow Wood is served by the highly acclaimed Melissa Independent School District.
