For the past 25 years, the Charleston Company has been a proud, family owned, service-oriented, new home building company in the Stafford - King George - Spotsylvania - Fredericksburg region. Our goal is to build the rambler or colonial home of your dreams - either in one of our communities or offsite on YOUR lot - and enjoy a pleasant building experience!

Already own land and looking to build your dream home? No Problem! We will be more than happy to build on your lot.

From the drawing board to your dream home, we provide a thorough analysis to ensure a smooth construction process.

We will: Assist in finding exactly the lot you're looking for, Inspect the home site, Survey the lot, Conduct soil contamination study, Make sure soil can perc, Check flood elevation, Survey trees, Clear the lot, Demolish existing structure - if needed, Add fill dirt - if needed, Advise you of well costs (applications, installation, testing), Estimate fees for erosion, water/sewer tap and storm water, Estimate fees for POA requirements and misc. costs, Estimate costs for electric and gas - if available. To us, as every individual is unique, every home is custom-built to your exact needs and affordability! We can even help with financing programs in which the land and the house can be financed together in one loan!
