In 1918, Robert C. Greenlease brought one of the first “all under one roof design” dealerships to Kansas City with the construction of the 4-story Cadillac Building. At the time of widespread disorganization in the emerging automobile industry, the GREENLEASE MOTOR CAR COMPANY was among the first to establish standards for the successful marketing and distribution of the automobiles nationwide.
