Las Vegas is known as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and for good reason! Casinos, entertainment shows, and stores line the streets wherever you look. Whether you’re catching a magic show or trying to win big at the slot machines, there’s always something to do in Las Vegas. Of course, there’s more to the city than gambling and the nightlife. The city’s Arts District contains murals and local, indie art galleries, and you can easily spend a day or two exploring the multiple museums or playing golf. Ready to move to Las Vegas? Lake Las Vegas

Lake Las Vegas

Lakes at Las Vegas is one of multiple master planned communities located in Henderson, which is just southeast of Las Vegas. There are more than ten builders in this community, with well-known names such as Lennar and Taylor Morrison Homes leading the pack. Each builder has anywhere between three and nine floor plans to choose from, with a total of over 25 houses available. Likewise, there’s a wide variety in price, ranging the mid $350’s to mid $500’s, and high-end houses going for as high as $1.5 million. Lake Las Vegas offers quality amenities, including a country club, fitness center, parks, and a tennis court.

Inspirada

Inspirada

20 miles south of downtown Las Vegas will take you to Inspirada, another master planned community in Henderson. KB Home and Toll Brothers have 22 and 14 floor plans to choose from, respectively, so you’re guaranteed to find your dream house design!

KB Home’s houses start in the mid $200’s, and Toll Brothers’ homes start in the low $400’s, offering plenty of affordable options for families. Fans of hiking and the great outdoors will love that Inspirada is located just three miles away from Sloan Canyon National Conversation Area, which features just under 50,000 acres of nature preserve.

Skye Canyon

Skye Canyon

The Skye Canyon master planned community is located 15 miles northwest of downtown Las Vegas, just off Highway 95. Folks can choose between more than 20 different floor plans from well-known builders such as Pulte Homes and Woodside Homes. Prices start in the low $300s. Like Inspirada, Skye Canon resides just on the edge of the wilderness–Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, to be precise. For those looking to stay closer to home, the community offers amenities such as a ballpark, hiking trails, a fitness center, and plenty of open space.

Located 17 miles south of downtown Las Vegas, Southern Highlands is a master planned community where you can “live the luxury you deserve”, per its website. Homebuilders such as Pacific Southwest Development and Century Communities offer more than 20 floor plans, so you’re sure to find your dream home. Houses in this community cover a wide price range, starting from the mid $300’s to upwards of $1 million. Residents can enjoy catching a bite to eat at the Southern Highlands Marketplace and getting fresh air at the seven beautiful community parks.

Summerlin

Situated 10 miles west of downtown Las Vegas, Summerlin is tucked along the edge of the Red Rock Canyon National Park. KB Home leads development in Summerlin, with multiple communities, including the Bristle Vale Collection I and Collection II.

Folks have their pick of over 20 floor plans, with prices ranging from the mid $300’s to mid $400’s. Your freedom of choice doesn’t end with just floor plans; families with children will be excited to know that Summerlin has 10 nationally recognized private schools and 16 public schools, so you can research which school will be best suited for your children.

This master planned community has seen development by well-known builders such as Century Communities and Richmond American Homes, offering more than ten different floor plans. Prices here start in the early $300’s, with features including granite or quartz countertops, and upstairs lofts.

Sedona Ranch resides in a highly developed residential area, with many restaurants and retail stores within walking distance. Additional amenities range from parks, golf courses, and playgrounds.

Valley Vista

Valley Vista

Located at the edge of the Valley of Fire State Park, Valley Vista is approximately 20 miles north of Las Vegas. Builders such as D.R. Horton create beautiful homes with modern looks, all with the picturesque desert scenery on the horizon.

With over 20 floor plans ranging from the mid $200’s to mid $400’s, there’s a house plan and price that meets all tastes and budgets. The nearby state park offers plenty of outdoor adventures; for those preferring indoor recreational activities, Valley Vista is within an easy driving distance of casinos and large shopping centers.
