Sauna by Effe Perfect Wellness

Saunas are popular, as health and wellness, and having resort-like amenities are among top priorities for homeowners. The Aladdin sauna by Effe Perfect Wellness takes the idea of resort escapism to heart with a sublime design where many of the components look as though they are floating, ready to whisk you away on a spa-like retreat.

Mirrored fascia running around the base of the sauna and anodized aluminum detail on the heater and exterior frame are reflective and calming. A gray porcelain platform and a rounded bench inside complete the simple, but pleasing design, perfect for a product meant for mindfulness and relaxation.

FurnSpin Rotating Cabinetry by Hettich

Cabinetry with doors that open to reveal storage inside is so 2024, according to Hettich. FurnSpin, is an innovative storage solution with a turning-swiveling fitting. Cabinets do a full circle rotation on their own axis, going from closed and streamlined, to open, with easy access to items stored inside. The track is engineered to both swivel and rotate, which provides the right amount of torque to ensure that even the lightest contents don’t move when the cabinet is turned, inside out.

While Hettich is proposing this as a good whole-home cabinetry solution, it will likely do very well in the kitchen, given the trend towards minimalist, flat-panel cabinetry for a sleeker look.

Vanity with Built-in Charger by James Martin Vanities, Cosentino and FreePower

Anything that saves you steps and time at home should top your home design wish list, and this innovative vanity delivers. A collaboration between  James Martin, Cosentino and FreePower, this vanity not only adds a lovely focal point to your bathroom, but its embedded features also elevate the functionality of your bathroom in an unexpected way. With a flush halo charger in the countertop, you can charge your devices (either one or two at a time), seamlessly. Simply place your devices within the glowing ring, which looks like an accent in its own right.

The built-in charger helps homeowners in a couple of ways: it’s easier to use than conventional surface chargers, because you don’t have to precisely line your devices up, saving you time. The bathroom is where homeowners typically prepare for and end their days, so this charging station is intelligently located, saving you steps to plug in elsewhere.

Grab Bars by LifeValet, Vibe Collection

One of the common complaints about home design and decor that is designed for aging in place and accessibility, is that the aesthetic is cold and institutional. The Vibe collection from LifeValet shows that safety first doesn’t have to leave style behind. Their sleek grab bars accomplish something that assistive decor usually does not. They look intentional and occupy a strategic spot among other design features in the bathroom.

Fully ADA-compliant, and available in three metal finishes, the grab bars come tile-ready, which permits the homeowner to fully customize the inlay and surrounding decor for an authentically curated look. What’s notable here is how strongly this design dispels the notion that the function of grab bars must come at the expense of aesthetics.

Workstation Sink by TopZero

Kitchen design is undergoing a significant shift in 2025, as space planning moves towards zone-oriented layouts, as opposed to the traditional kitchen triangle (where the fridge, sink and stove top/oven are in a small, triangular pattern). Kitchen tools and features are stepping up accordingly to meet their new functional roles. Enter the workstation sink, which demonstrates that compact, smart design wins over size any day.

Top Zero’s Vera Deluxe workstation sink has bells and whistles galore. A multi-level tier frame that accommodates accessories is mindful of the home cook’s workflow.  Built-in LED lighting is task-oriented, but also casts a colorful flow, adding an unexpected aesthetic element. The sink has a built-in organization drawer to combat clutter, a bonus in any kitchen. It’s available in elevated mount, flush mount, or under mount options, suitable for numerous different kitchen styles.

Cold Plunge Tub by Kohler

The Remedy Place Ice Bath by Kohler adds chill to one of the hottest health and wellness trends: the cold plunge. This high-tech tub is thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. It’s appropriate for indoor and outdoor use but looks remarkably like a piece of furniture with a richly colored enclosure, platform for keeping towels or your robe. Homeowners who take their health and wellness seriously may want to include this in their home gym recovery area, next to a sauna, for a complete thermal cycle.

The tub features ergo-dynamic body positioning, precision temperature control to keep the water just cold enough, and a user-friendly UV light filtration system. Perhaps the “coolest” part of this cold plunge tub is the breathing light placed at eye level when you are submerged in the water. It gently ebbs and flows, to encourage mindful breathing to endure the recommended six minutes of submersion for maximum health benefits.

Space Step by Blum

Running cabinetry to the ceiling is one of the best value-add upgrades in a new home, because of how it makes the aesthetic clean and adds more storage space. However, for vertically challenged homeowners, those upper cabinets remain out of reach, and often underused. Having an extra ladder on hand takes up space and is clumsy. Why not make better use of space you’ve already got to get more out of your kitchen?

From a common-sense design standpoint, the Space Step by Blum is brilliant. It’s an integrated, motion-activated step built into the usually unused toe-kick portion of the cabinet. Not only does this step give you a boost to reach the top shelves, but it is also designed to incorporate even more storage beneath the step itself.
