The Sanders is an affordable two-story cottage with flex space to fit changing lifestyles. A loft area on the upper level of the small house floor plan can be used as a craft area, homework station, gaming area, etc. The loft is centrally located among three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has an en suite bath with a separate water closet and a large walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms share a full bath, which is also accessible from the loft. The main level keeps things casual, with a hall leading from the front entry and garage entry to the kitchen, great room, and dining nook. Two windows at the back of the great room and glass doors that open to the back deck fill the area with natural light, while solid side walls offer privacy from neighbors. The unfinished basement has another flex space, which can be finished as a family room, fitness area, or dedicated home office. This level of the small cottage house plan also has a bedroom with a walk-in closet, a full bath, and a generously sized storage room.
