Talla Pointe is a St. Martin/Ocean Springs gem located in Jackson County, Mississippi. This DSLD community is situated along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Talla Pointe offers large lots and is close to I-10, downtown Ocean Springs, beautiful beaches, Biloxi’s casinos and D’Iberville’s newest shopping and eateries at the Promenade. Ocean Springs offers thirteen parks for residents and visitors to enjoy. Nestled throughout the Town, these parks are the perfect location for a picnic or playdate. It is also home to a number of ethnic restaurants which are relatively uncommon in surrounding communities. The essential restaurants in this area include Phoenicia Gourmet Restaurant where one can enjoy world-class cuisine in a beautiful Greek neo-classical atmosphere, while Aunt Jenny’s Catfish Restaurant skillfully serves family-style, all-you-can-eat catfish. Ocean Springs is also home to numerous art galleries like Hillyer House, which features more than 50 local artists. It’s also home to the Anderson family, whose Shearwater Pottery lures collectors to its rustic studios on the water, and whose creative legacy is honored by the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, right in the heart of town. But perhaps the spirit of Ocean Springs is most obvious at the beach, where a new playground features a large, whimsical ship that celebrates the town’s founding by those maritime explorers. Front Beach gently arcs from Biloxi Bridge to the Ocean Springs harbor. With a fishing pier, a playground, and views of the Gulf Islands, this beach is a true community destination. The Gulf Islands National Seashore is America’s largest national seashore and practically surrounds Ocean Springs. On the mainland, the Davis Bayou Area is great for birding and spotting armadillos. Offshore, a seasonal ferry runs from nearby Gulfport to West Ship Island, which offers quiet, bone-white beaches.
