Simms becomes President of Charles Simms Development working closely with his father Charles V. Simms. Charles V. Simms received the coveted Robert E. McDaniel Leadership Award Presented by the Home Builders Association of Dayton. The National Association of Home Builders named Simms the “National Multi-Family Builder of the Year” in 1995. A new era began in 1996 with Charles H. Simms carrying on the Simms Tradition by purchasing his father’s company. Now, thirty years later, Charles H. Simms has built over 1500 homes, townhomes, and condos. He continues to provide the “Quality Comes First” leadership the Simms Family is known for in Dayton and the Miami Valley. In 1999 Charles H. Simms became President of the Home Builders Association of Dayton and the Miami Valley. Charles H.
