The Kingsville community is located in Baltimore County, Maryland. It is a very closely knit community with a semi-rural feel. It has a fairly quiet and serene environment mixed with a bit of the hustle and bustle of the city life. Basically, Kingsville has a little bit of everything to offer in terms of city and rural life. The community is categorized as a CDP (Census-designated place) with a populace of more than 4,500. With efficient civic services and gorgeous natural features, Kingsville is an attractive place to buy a new home.

Kingsville gets its name from the late Abraham King. The genesis of the Kingsville community came about after Abraham King bought a 290 acres parcel of land from Thomas Kell, who was a county judge at the time. Slowly, the King’s family began utilizing the piece of land and by 1847 they had set up a tavern by the name King’s Tavern. George King came up with the name Kingsville after he noticed the mail was only addressed to King’s Tavern. His main aim in the name change was to put the tavern on the world’s map, but it seems he achieved more than just that!

Despite its modest total area, the city has an impressive variety of natural sceneries. To the southwest, Kingsville is bordered by the Big Gunpowder Falls and the Little Gunpowder Falls to the north. These natural sites offer a great place to spend your weekends, providing all sorts of relaxing outdoor fun.

Apart from the great outdoors, Kingsville has much to offer, from high ranking schools to great shopping centers. Another point worth noting is the low crime index of just 3, the lowest in Maryland and its surrounding areas. Kingsville offers a soundly secure place for you and your family to reside.
