Be sure to Catch a baseball game at the Dell Diamond, or sit behind the goalie at a Texas Stars game. Residents can relax with a round of golf at one of the many championship courses, or lose yourself shopping at one of the amazing malls like Lakeline, or the Domain. As we all know a shopping excursion can build up an appetite, well you're in luck, Austin is known for its food trailers. With over two thousands, scattered across town, the most logical idea is to sample all of them. If you're looking for something a little fancier, there are numerous downtown restaurants, as well as local hole in the walls like Thundercloud Subs.
As a resident you will have to watch the breathtaking Bat colony on Congress, as it is the largest urban colony with more than 1.5 million bats and counting.
