Or just spend any ordinary day at one of the twenty parks. You can do everything from fishing, launch your boat or kayak, climb on the playscape, play on the multiple sports fields and courts including sand volleyball, barbeque on the grills, or cool off under the shaded benches and pavilions. You can even enter the Parks Photo Contest by submitting a photo that captures one of your many park adventures. Throughout the parks you will see benches and trees with designated plaques. These represent the lives of people's late loved ones. This is just one way you can forever leave your mark on the city, and also a way the city honors its residents.
The newest addition to Missouri City is the Recreation & Tennis Center. Here you can not only play tennis or attend your usual workout classes, but they also have classes and games for bike spinning, wheelchair tennis and basketball, photography, crafts, cheer and more. Another entertaining amenity is the Star Cinema Grill where you enjoy the latest movies while chowing down on a menu that expands far beyond popcorn.
