Imagine yourself walking through the 75,000 twinkling lights that adorn Waxhaw historic downtown as you celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas to bring in the end of the year. Don't forget to wave Santa on as he passes all the local children in the Christmas parade.
Kids will definitely find their place in Waxhaw with parks like Cane Creek Park and the David G. Barnes Children's Park where they can swim, fish, and climb a jungle gym like the little monkeys they wish they were! For the more moody members of the family, teens will find the Skateboard Park to be to their liking as they can escape for hours at a time to blow off steam. Adults will find comfort in Sunday Brunch at Rippington Restaurant for a late morning Bloody Mary or mimosa with a side omelette.
