The Texas City of Rosharon is the epitome of southern hospitality. Back in the day, a Rosharon resident use to bring buttermilk to the trainmen at Columbia Tap Railroad, also known as Masterson's Station. Take your first of many jumps out of a plane here! If you prefer to stay on land, retreat to the water! At Wake Nation you can wakeboard, water ski, kneeboard, wake skate. The best part is you don't need to have your own boat! Riders hang onto lines for a ride of a lifetime.
Rosharon also knows how to eat! Grabbing the fried mushroom appetizer followed by a Texas-sized burger is a favorite meal of the locals. SS Smoke BBQ and The Attic Deli are constantly packed because their meals are too good to turn down.
Education is important in everyone's life. Your kids will be attending Alvin Independent School District. Alvin ISD is on the rise with their improvement in state and national test scores. They can also attend the local Alvin Community College while staying put in Rosharon. Students are put first here, and will receive a gift that keeps on giving.
