Schools for Paloma Lakes Residents
Paloma Lake is zoned to Round Rock ISD, one of the top-performing school districts in Texas, as well as the Austin metro area.
Elementary school children in Paloma Lake attend Linda Herrington Elementary School, which is located within Paloma Lake itself at 2850 Paloma Lake Boulevard. Roughly 900 students are enrolled annually. Herrington ranks in the top 25 percent in the state for academic growth and “closing the gaps,” a measure of student performance.
As children grow older in Paloma Lake, they typically head to Hopewell Middle School. Located at 1535 Gulf Way with approximately 1,000 students annually.
Paloma Lake’s high school is Stony Point High School at 1801 Tiger Trail. Approximately 2,600 students enroll annually as Tigers at this International Baccalaureate, or IB, school. While enrolled, students can take advantage of Early College and IB courses to earn credit towards college degrees.
