This small Suburban city is located in the DeKalb County in the State of Georgia, USA. Despite being a newly recognized city, Dunwoody is very well developed and has a good population count. The City gets its name from a former Civil War Soldier, Major Charles Dunwody. The name was misspelt and the extra “o” was added in the name of the city to correct it.
