Thus, the town's citizens voted a Park Bond Referendum where an amount of $40M are meant to be spent for development of green space and parks. Many of the projects have been completed and others are waiting to be undertaken.
Moreover, there are plans since January, 2018 to work on the development of pedestrians' safety and cyclists. The community has shown great support in building the so called pedestrian river bridge which will definitely improve safety and will boost the local economies by enhancing business access, improve connections with the bordering neighborhoods as traffic flow will be improved.
Citizens of Johns Creek have the opportunity to enjoy several special events organized in their neighborhood. Such is the Community Safety Day, which is of top priority for the residents of Johns Creek. Moreover, Veterans' Day is honoring those who were willing to sacrifice their own lives for our country, whereas "Movies at Newtown Park" is a great outdoor family activity, where you can enjoy family-friendly movies under the open sky on a huge screen.
