Landscaping lacks color with too many juniper evergreens. We expanded our driveway after moving in which should be an option for new homebuyers

60 days later And my list of issues still not taken care of. I want appointments for any workers coming to my home. I think 60 days after closing my list of shoddy workmanship should be completed but it’s not! I’m weighing my many options... Left to fix on lot 402 01-13-20 Scratches inside bathroom sink by office (very lite) Kitchen cabinet left next to refrigerator replacement A/C per Nick notes on install Relocate Flood Lighting on SE corner by master bedroom Cabinet/vanity trim in master bath not same color as rest of vanity. The garage ceiling has an electrical open electrical box with a wire hanging  Media box repair RJ45 plug Wires hanging out of it. The vents leading to the roof from the two guest bathrooms make a Lotta noise with any kind of wind at all and it needs to be fixed.  ... More

I love my house, but DiVosta clearly doesn’t want to fix anything that is wrong, and the finishing contractors were somewhat sloppy. For instance, I had no hot water for two days when I moved in, and only an emergency call brought the plumber, who said the hot water heater was never set up. He shook his head in amazement, and it took a third day for the hot water to kick in. I’m still waiting for the crown molding to be installed in the guest bedrooms—molding that I paid for but never got. How did this place ever pass inspection? You have to wonder.

some options are WAY over priced

DiVosta does a great job , as a builder, with the quality of materials, speed to market getting it done, and creating a very pleasant neighborhood. 60 years of experience, go with a winner!

Brent our salesman made the whole experience so much fun. Sent drone pictures as the house was built.

my Building supervisor has been wonderful and responsive however, the work request have not been resolved. I know he has tried to get the proper people to follow up and it’s out of his hands but we need some things done. It’s the pool people, we haven’t had them come give us the “pool school” hitch we have to have as we’ve never owned a pool before and have no idea what we need to do to take care of it or what materials we need to have to do so. Also there is a tree/bush that was dead when we’ve moved in that still hasn’t been replaced. I know Jeff has put in the order so it’s out of his hands. Other than that anything we’ve needed taken care of in the house, Jeff has taken care of in a timely manner. We also wish that we had options to have lighting and fans installed as we are unable to do so ourselves. But we love the house and neighborhood and look forward to many years of comfort here! ... Ask more questions at design center about quality of upgrades to be purchased.

DiVosta needs to pay attention to interior cosmetic detail correction prior to buyer's walk through inspection like cracked cabinets, crookedly installed electrical/ wall plate receptacles, wrong brand of kitchen appliance installed (Amana dishwasher vs the Kitchen Aid as stated in the contract list). Outside lamppost needs to be tested if it's operational. These should have been inspected and corrected prior to buyer's walk through.

Carson kept us update through the building process.

The house was finished without any input from me. Their sales and design reps never contacted me to make this experience a personal one. It was like buying a spec house. I lived in another state and couldn't be here to ask questions and receive answers.

I Been living in my new home for about a month I find it a challenge dealing with the painting of wall . One of the challenges is that the paint scathed very easy. We believe the our inside paints is a color primmer. Not a paint

We were very excited during the building phase. There were some issues during the build but our sales agent stayed on top of them. We do believe it is a structurally sound home. But when we moved in and took a closer look, the workmanship regarding the finishing details was questionable. Our punch list has many items to be addressed. To name a few, the tile floors have cement, grout and paint dripped In several places, some of the doors would not close and lock properly, the painting and edge cutting was mediocre, one of the shower doors is not sealed so water leaks on the floor, some of the sheet rock around doors was not completed properly. We have to schedule many after build contractors to correct the issues. These contractors are hit or miss. We like the house and location, but overall, for the money we paid for this house, we expected a somewhat better result. ... More

we love our new Divosta home! Ready on time with no major issues.

Great experience to date. Excellent response time to any repair issues i.e. painting, door hinge, counter top, pavers, electrical. All completed timely. A few dead landscaping plants were reported with some delays on replacement. Still waiting for a large bush to be replaced, update provided.

They have been wonderful to work with. My only issue was with the cleaning people. They could have done a better job with the small details that you don’t see at a walk through. I can’t say enough good things about our building contact or our warranty person!

Helpful hoest company that has a real system to help you choose models andoptions and then built in 4 months. Cocerned and responsive about quality and fixing problems if any.

Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. They tell you they will take care of it, but never do. One person tells you one thing then the next person says something different. I always thought DiVosta was a quality builder... Boy, was I hoodwinked!!!

Make sure to go through every detail at the design phase. There are a few things I and they missed that caused some minor issues. I feel they rushed to closing and then leave many issues afterwords to settle. They are very responsive but I think most of these should have been completed prior to closing.

I was local so I could visit the home often during the build process. As with all construction, there were a few hicups along the way but Divosta was responsive. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm happy with the quality of my home. Have had very little issues since closing almost 2 months ago. I love the community!! I would recommend Divosta and Mallory Park to others.

5 Stars in terms of Quality and Customer Service!

I am disappointed in the grout work on the tile. Divosta tried to fix it, but it should have been down right the first time. Some one stroke two of my paint samples and items that came with my dishwasher and washer/dryer. Divosta has yet to give me the stolen paint and other items! Just stay on top of them while you are building your house!!!

I love our floor plan and the quality of the final result. I was very pleased with the communication from our project manager, Jeff. He sent us photos throughout the building process and was very responsive to any question I might have.
