I was hoping to get the same quality I saw on the model home. It is difficult to see every detail on a short period of time. Once I moved I realized that all openings are cut in diagonal. Even the main door has a triangle on the wall. Sliding doors are not aligned, pocket door in the bathroom detached in the middle of the night within 17 days after moved. The quality control on the construction is terrible. I have never seen a construction like this. Appliances had to be leveled. The appliances cannot be any cheaper. For what we pay to buy one of these houses we should get much more.

60 days later And my list of issues still not taken care of. I want appointments for any workers coming to my home. Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. They tell you they will take care of it, but never do. One person tells you one thing then the next person says something different. I always thought DiVosta was a quality builder... Boy, was I hoodwinked!!!

When a home is 'built' in only four months, there is little time for attention to details. Receiving service after move-in has been slow and the 'customer service' representative hasn't been responsive.

New issues every week! Nothing is EVER fixed!!

We have had non-stop issues with our home. Nobody communicates the problem correctly, everyone is apparently overworked, we currently have NO POWER on half our house for the third time and we have only had it since March and no way to resolve it. Nobody wants to help or address any problems after you move in

From a sales high to a New Owners low

You will wait a long time to have items corrected under the warranty process. For the amount that was paid for the house, many items should have been corrected and or inspected prior to closing so the new owners do not have to hire an independent Home Inspector. When I asked why the toilet supply line was installed on an angle (not professional at all) I was told, well, you know plumbers. I guess this is why one of my electrical boxes in loose? Ignorance is bliss I guess since we only have 1 year to file our claims.

Virtual closing was poor quality via FaceTime. Home had several issues not reviewed at closing. Lights and outlets not working. Poor Construction work in many areas

The home was built with trusses that were on the ground for over 2 months and were moldy when installed. The carpentry work is sub-standard (doors that didn't close or were cut too short, loose hinges, etc.) The pool skimmer flap was just floating in the pool and there were globs of Gunite on the pool tile and coping. The wall paint was so thin that we had to repaint the walls before we moved in, the wall texture is hard to even describe as it is inconsistent throughout the home. Not the builder I thought they would be.

First, it was six months before the slab was poured. A couple months for permits but six months is unacceptable. We did get delayed, probably a months worth by Ian, not the builders fault. We had three different CMs (Construction Managers) that are supposed to manage the build but we had a difficult experience with the lot. Nadine ghosted us, Justin was there briefly but left Divosta/Pulte and Dan was new and inexperienced. Love Beachwalk, DiVosta not so much

Poor quality, basically we closed on a house that DiVosta should be embarrassed to call "completed". My bad for going thru with the closing. Now we have blue tape everywhere to note the warranty issues, which are slow and so far issues they say are fixed are clearly not fixed. Beachwalk is an awesome location with awesome neighbors, but DiVosta has been a big disappointment unfortunately.

Putting up houses too quick, not enough managers

Beautiful house, but too many serious issues like water leaks (before the storm). Not enough experienced personnel to oversee the process and ensure quality. Communication slips when things get busy and homeowner is left to fend for themselves. Their building process can not deal with supply chain issues in a systematic , orderly process although the managers do their best. Warranty issues take a long time to get resolved.

DiVosta - Pulte Homes - Nice Designs but Terrible Workmanship

We bought many new homes from various builders over the years but I can safely say Pulte is by far the most disorganized, non-communicative, with sloppy construction controls, and incompetent and unskilled sub-contractors (including electricians, plumbers, roofers, framers, painters, appliance installers, etc.) Our pre-closing punch list was 5 pages long, and our post-closing punch list was 4 additional pages long. Based on my experience: the new build was dirty on move in date, the kitchen wasn't fully functional and after one month basic repairs and finishes are not complete. It appears there was little quality assurance at the finish and we were moved to "warranty" to resolve obvious flaws, repairs and incomplete items that were clear and pointed out over one month before the close. Lack of Quality workmanship

While we understood that in new construction, there maybe issues, but DiVosta has a customer service and warranty program to presumably correct these deficiencies. We were totally unprepared for the significant number of issues affecting all of the various trades (electrical, windows, plumbing, floor tile, paint, locks, stucco, cabinets, and post construction cleanup). Equally disappointing is the inability to get DiVosta to address the issues or even provide some evidence that they are working to correct the deficiencies.

The finish/attention to detail was terrible and after being in the house for 6 weeks we are still waiting for numerous issues to be repaired. Unfortunately, Pulte/Divosta cares more about moving forward on other houses now that they have our money. We are embarrassed at the quality of the finish work and feel totally disrespected.
