Going through the initial process to finally closing was super easy and all my questions were answered so I wasn't confused on anything. House is wonderful and other than a few issues that took multiple times to fix from final closing I would recommend Lennar for others looking to buy.

This is one of the nicest houses we have owned. We downsized from our previous home but our new Lennar home is spacious. Plenty of elbow room so you really do not feel crowded. If any issues pop up (minor ones so far) we track down “our man” and it is taken care of immediately. The individuals we dealt with in the buying process were very attentive and helpful the whole time. I would not hesitate to buy another home from Lennar.

Very difficult to get warranty work done timely. Seems like they have a different quality standard than the homeowner.

In Arizona trades are hard to find. The quality of the detail work is honestly the only thing I feel is lacking in our home. I feel you would have that issue in any home as all the trades work for all the builders. The only way you could hold a builder to the fire on an issue honestly is if it was a custom home. Our Lennar home feels of high quality, we’ve experienced great customer service.

Heat pump caused the Next-Gen area to heat up and cause strong smoke smells to the point the fire department had to come out. Debris within the system air ducts were clogged with building materials. Clothe dryer in Next-Gen had issues and I am still dealing with them. A circuit breaker in the dinning area of the main house keeps tripping, no electrician has come to check on it after it has been reported. Continues to happen.

Not so much a pleasant experience. Communication with sales rep was non existent, but called only when they needed something done on their end. Construction manager rushed us through our walkthrough and didn’t let us talk about the cosmetic issues we found and even insulted my wife calling her picky.

Communication with buyer falls short after purchase. Slow to react to problems found by buyer. Many issues with clean up after contractors were done--not acceptable to any home buyer. Craftsmanship of home left alot to be desired. Shoddy work. Appliances were not the same ones that were shown in model home. Seller explained, at time of buying decision, that we would get the appliances shown in model home. The price we bought at appeared to be a great buy but we find it has fallen way short of our expectations.

This has been an overall great experience. My construction manager has been nothing but amazing. I know he's busy but always get my issue resolved. We have had a few problems after we moved in and they were addressed fairly quickly. I am happy to own and be able to grow with my family in a Lennar Home. Thanks for everything.

Prior to Closing we were prepared to forfeit our deposit and walk away. It had become clear that Lennar's only interest was closing sales, not Customer Satisfaction. The "Inventory" house we selected, completed months earlier, wasn't actually finished upon closing. The day we took possession, we waited outside in the Arizona heat, while the vent hood above the gas cooktop was delivered and installed. The AC system was not fully functional for months. The natural gas supply line to the furnace had never been installed. The house was delivered with filthy air filters, and a dozen dead shrubs. ...

Small for the price

The quality of the house is not what I would expect for 1/3 mill. I have cracks in the walls and ceiling. The yards are so small you can’t store you garbage cans in the back. So my two car garage must lose a slot for the garbage. HOA is expensive. Smart house electronics seem to be beta versions (Not ready for prime time) water quality is borderline unhealthy can’t really recommend

Unfinished work and poor craftsmanship

We worked with a realtor and our own outside mortgage broker so buying was not an issue and everything went very well. I would love to give Lennar a great rating, however we are 6 months into our new home and still have not had work completed from our 45 day review. We had to have windows replaced because they were broken during building process. The workers came to replace the windows and installed new ones but left smudge fingerprints and palm prints on them that require a 20 ft ladder to reach for cleanup. We have green tape stick on high ceilings that was left during the building process. ...

Lennar is the home for anyone who is happy with the exact model presented. During the purchasing process some inquiries or requests were received with a 'No' Sorry. Lennar also put a limit on a reward card presented at the time we closed on the purchased, when ready to use Lennar had pulled the funds back, so missed out. Be careful of any promotions or giveaways. The Construction Manager has been wonderful and quick to respond on some mirror issues.
