We were very happy with the work done by all the ladies in the finance department. Very responsive to emails and calls. As far as the quality of our home I am beyond disappointed. The longer we are here the more problems I find. In 25 years of construction I have never seen such poor quality. No pride in workmanship by some of the subcontractors. Items on our walkthrough were not addressed as we were told they would be by the time we closed and still have not been completed.

I have crooked bricks in the exterior, missing quarter round, vinyl floor planks moving and oh the internet cable was not laid for the entire phase two group. I have been operating off hotspots and I telework. How does a critical work item not get executed during a project, it’s baffling. Who know when it will actually get done. I will pass on this experience with any one interested and continue to inform anyone who will listen.

You need to watch over the building of your new home if you can. You should take a walk through about once a week to insure the little things are taken care of before you close on the building. You do have 30 days after closing to let the builder know about things to be corrected; but many times it will take them two or months to get around to correcting the issues.

The only complaint I have is that the sub floor upstairs is not flat! When we walk upstairs, we feel the imperfections beneath our feet. We raised the issue a few times but were told this is as good as it gets!

We closed on the 29th March, My wife and I walked into a house that had holes in the ceiling, holes in the walls, all floors where dirty and had paint overspray on every part of the house. The quality vinyl floors had lifted in every room on the lower level, which we are still waiting to be replaced. We have had jobs in for correction or repairs since we have been here and am not impressed with the quality of work received. This was absolutely the worst home buying experience. Something that was supposed to be a fun experience is a living nightmare. During multiple inspections and walks many issues were pointed out to our Field manager and he either just didn’t give a crap or didn’t know what he was doing. It started with our salesperson Robinson who introduced us to the model that we ended up buying we were interested in a different one but this one's much better and our construction manager Trevor was awesome saw to every need and kept a surprise of every update on the house and explain things in detail. Wife and I stopped by to look at new developments in our area. Was not pressured into buying right off the bat, and we appreciated this. While walking through a few new builds was approached by a few of the construction managers, I asked them a few questions about their building process, and with that they were very quick to answer all my questions. They were very happy to assist me with my VA loan, where others prior would basically tell me they would rather not deal with its hassle. The option for a pool should have been included during the actual build. Waiting nine months+ for closing, then moving in, only to again be submerged in another major construction site while the pool and enclosure are constructed, I believe could be avoided. The house however, is well built, and except for minor fixes, has met my expectations.

Much of the home is still full of the same issues that had been promised to be fixed such as paint on the floor in multiple locations, trim missing in our bathroom, warped cabinet doors in the kitchen, and poor dry wall work with metal corner braces still being exposed against a white wall....
